When they got bored playing board games, pretty much every one of them spent their time doing something else. Theo's read an email from his professor about their lecture earlier before he left the campus. Victoria's checking out her new pieces of make-up while Hendrew was playing on his switch while their little sister plays with her dolls.
A moment later, a knock on the door stopped them from their busy stuff and get away their attention in the meantime.
"Is it time for dinner?" Hendrew asked.
One of the royal guards came in and the four of them stuck their eyes at him.
"The Queen's looking for everyone," he announced. "Please follow me."
As soon as that was said, the siblings immediately get off their feet and prepared themselves to follow the royal guard heading out of the room. There were more guards when they got out of their room and they were escorted all the way to the dining hall.
Later on, they met their mother in the dining hall. They quickly give her a hug asking a lot of questions about their father. The Queen let them settle on their chairs first and have their food served. Once it has all been done, they put half of their attention on their mother's announcement.
"Everyone, please listen to what will I say and this about the King... about your father..." she started.
"What about father now?" Victoria asked. "I've heard something else earlier. Is father dead?"
Hendrew gasped, stopping him from biting his steak. His face is full of shock and couldn't understand what was going on, but feel so terrified about what he just heard.
"No, no, listen to me," the Queen said. "Your father is okay, but he's not awake right now. He's unconscious, but the doctor said he'll be fine. He's still our king..."
"Yet..." Victoria continued and looked at Theo.
Theo grabbed the glass of water and drink to clear up his dry throat.
"Tomorrow, the public will hear about the King's situation as they should. And when they do, a lot of things will happen, speculations, gossip, rumors, and everything in between that's why I asked every one of you to stay inside the Palace for now, until the King's situation gone better."
"How long will we wait for that?" Theo asked.
"I'm not sure, Theo," the Queen answered. "I'm not even sure what will happen next that's why I'm asking you to stay as well. You're not going back to college until further directives. I hope you understand that, Theo."
"I do, mum," he said, nodding his head.
"You're not King yet," Victoria said. "Don't sweat it out, brother."
He smirked. "I wish I wouldn't be on this spot. Do you wanna swap with me?"
"I would love to," Victoria said. "Can we change the rule for the throne succession?"
