Theo woke up comfortably in a very familiar room to him. He knew at that time, he felt at home and that assured him he was safe, but reality hit him too hard when everything sunk in his mind. His body froze as he stare at the ceiling remembering all the horrible things that happened. He wanted to cry, but nothing was coming out. He felt so dry inside, but the emotion inside his chest is something he cannot deny.
It was heartbreaking.
He tried to move and look around and there was no Jeremy in sight. He could be in the bathroom right now, but he waited and listened if someone was inside the bathroom, it would be easy to know it. He heard nothing.
"Jeremy..." he called his name.
For a single moment, he waited for someone to answer and check in on him.
A few minutes later, no one showed up.
He had to check twice if he was in his room since it wouldn't be the sleeping quarters where it has only one bed. Theo started guessing when every corner of the room seems to be different from what he knew. As he looked around, everything seems to be so strange for him. He stand up and looked around. He checked the bathroom, it was clean. The drawers are empty. There is no stuff inside this room, but as soon as he finds himself in front of the mirror, he wasn't wearing his own clothes.
It was Jeremy's.
He went back inside the bathroom and there he finally noticed something hanging on the rack and it was clothes. It was still wet so he grabbed it.
If he walked out of this room, he doesn't have any idea what he would be out there. Only the officers know what happened, plus some members of the royal councils. He stopped what he had with Jeremy just like what they asked, but would it be enough?
Theo decided to step out of the room quickly realizing he was in the same room Jeremy stay. He had to check the hallway twice, but he was in the right room. He went back inside and the room looked so empty.
His shoulder dropped as soon as he realized that Jeremy left without telling him anything. He put his hand on his mouth figuring out what to do. He was speechless. He doesn't know what to do.
Theo left the room and went straight to the sleeping quarters, but he could even get there, he met one of the officers along the way.
"Your Highness, we've been looking for you," he started. "We would like to invite you to the office, if you may."
"Okay... but, I'll just get something inside the quarters."
The officer followed and waited for him outside the quarters while Theo stepped inside the room and many eyes landed on him. He glanced at them but didn't pay any attention. He found Stanley and Yussuf as well who come to talk to him.
"Hey, Theo... where did you sleep?" Stanley asked.
"What are you wearing?" Yussuf questioned.
"I'll get back to you guys, later... I'm needed at the office."
