"We're almost there..."
It seems possible, but Theo is almost in the last days of his training and he might not like it or not, but his life will turn back to normal—well, normal is had to define when the past few weeks have been a tremendous problem for him.
For weeks, Theo tried not to think about Jeremy. He hasn't heard a thing about him. He didn't ask because they don't want him to talk about Jeremy.
When Jeremy come out in front of the people in the cafeteria a few weeks ago, the looks they gave disappeared and the way they treated him changed—or maybe because of the fact that he's still the king and his words are more powerful than the looks they threw at him.
"I hope once I'm out of the camp, I'll be on duty to the palace so I could still get to hang out with Theo," Yussuf said.
"Errr... I think don't think that's how it works, Yus. You don't get to hang out with the king while you're on duty or else, you'll get fired. I'm correct, right?" Stanley seeking acknowledgment.
Theo nodded chuckling. "Yeah... I could talk to you at some point, but you're not allowed to talk to me at any given time without any reason. Don't worry, I'll check in on you guys once you're on duty in the palace."
"That's cool! Will you go on duty as well?" Yussuf wondered.
Theo shook his head. "No... I won't, Yus. I'll do my part as a leader of this country instead."
"See?" Stanley said. "But we can still hang out with Theo while he's still with us."
"Yup, while we're still here..." Theo commented.
"I think your guard is looking for you..." Stanley said and then pointed to the door where they saw Keane searching for the king. "You got to go."
"Okay..."
Theo let out a sigh and stand up to meet RG Keane. As soon as he found Theo walking in his direction. He has no idea why he was looking for him.
"Your Highness," Keane started.
"Keane," he greeted.
"I am looking for you and they were asking you to be at the office, if you may," Keane said. "Can you come with me, Your Highness?"
"Sure..."
Theo walked first before him while Keane followed him behind. As soon as they reached the office, he stepped in and found some of the officers awaiting them.
He sat in one of the chairs while waiting for what they will tell her.
"What am I doing here?" he asked.
"Your Highness," the officer started. "Today, the people who have been behind the attacks for the past months targeting you have just been arrested. We have enough evidence. They didn't testify yet, but we assure you that the upcoming coronation will be a safe one and we're excited to see how it will unfold."
