After a dreadful week for Theo, everything went back to normal, well, not really.
After this father's funeral last week, aside from his family, the country sympathizes with their family. Knowing that he would take over the throne and rule the country with his hands, Theo tried not to worry about anything else, but run good governance.
He was afraid, scared, and even speak up because a lot of people would say something else against him. Much worst, they said... Theo wouldn't be a great king as his father.
It was painful to hear, but he said, they weren't lying, it could be true. Theo's far from what his father did and his legacy to the nation he had served. He wouldn't be able to get on the level of what he did, but look up to it and see what else he could do. There's too much pressure for Theo especially, he's too young to be a king.
But there's no such thing as young in the royal succession, when it's your turn, it's your turn. That's why Theo couldn't do anything, but not be against the monarch's rules.
He woke up before the alarm could snooze. He started preparing early as he know he has an early agenda with the Prime Minister inside the palace today. They would like to do it in the Prime Miniter's office, but the last time it happened, something bad happened and they are trying to eliminate these threats from their life.
The culprit is in jail, but they still believe that there was an accomplice just waiting for the action to take. They were still figuring out where to search for them, that is why no until they are found, it'll be less safe for Theo to go out in public.
After taking a bath and picking some clothes to wear, he heard a knock and thought it would be his siblings bugging him as early as this time. He even had his grumpy mood on as he opens the door, but ultimately shock when he saw Jeremy in front of his face.
He immediately set his reaction back and fixed his posture. He was greeted by Jeremy with his salute.
"Good morning, Your Highness," he uttered, looking straight at him.
"G-Good morning," he stuttered, slightly feeling awkward upon seeing him. "I didn't expect to see you early this morning. What do I owe this visit, Jeremy?"
"Your Highness, I am your personal Royal Guard. "I'm here to escort you to the council room. The Prime Minister is already there and waiting for you."
His eyes widened when Jeremy delivered the news.
"Oh, my goodness! This is not good."
Theo panicked and didn't know what to do first. He just turned himself away from Jeremy and started finishing his attire. While Jeremy is standing by the door, he was just watching Theo hastily wear his formal clothes and get grumpy about it because it doesn't go along with him. A little chuckle planted on Jeremy's face, and until he saw Theo struggling to tie to necktie once again.
