"Hooo!" Theo let out a big relief in his chest as soon as he gets inside the car.
The smile he wore is a kind of smile making him feel so good about himself. And what he is feeling is valid after all those criticisms, he was still able to provide a speech that makes people in awe in starting his own legacy.
"Can we go to some ice cream shop before we head back to the palace?" Theo requested.
His royal guard and the chauffeur looked at each other discussing if the king's request was possible to happen. As soon as they come to a conclusion, Jeremy looked back to face the king and announced that they could do that, but they need to do it quickly as it's not part of the agenda and could break the protocol.
"I knew an ice cream parlor in this nearby hood," Jeremy said. "Maybe that would be the safest place we could be in right now."
The chauffeur nodded upon Jeremy's order. They drove away from the crowd who was waiting outside and capturing the moment. It was still mesmerizing for Theo to get this much attention as before. All eyes are on him. All seemingly revolve around what he does and what he says so he gotta be careful whatever he speaks or do as it might create commotion he didn't want to happen.
Going roundabout the area, looking for a sweet spot for an ice cream parlor, they finally found one which at the moment doesn't have many customers going in and out of the premises.
"Can I come?" Theo asked.
"I think it's better if I go alone inside the store, Your Highness," Jeremy said. "It wouldn't be safe for you to go outside of this car. I might not be able to guard you alone when a surge of crowd comes in."
Theo immediately looks back and forth on the pavement and there are only a few people around. Something Theo thought people wouldn't mind.
"What flavor do you want, Your Highness?" Jeremy asked.
Theo let out a mad sigh and Jeremy doesn't want to argue with the king so, in the end, his order came on top. The chauffeur handed the king over a cap and a jacket as well to Jeremy so they will get less attention.
Jeremy put the jacket over his suit. He wouldn't be able to get off of his suit since it's very complicated. Theo does the same thing. As they prepared to get out of the car and check the people around them, as soon as it looks good, they both went out and headed straight inside the ice cream parlor.
They were greeted by the staff. They fall in line while checking the displayed tubs of ice cream they could choose. Theo was in heaven looking at those flavors. He could have it back in the palace and have all every flavor he wanted served right in front of him, but there's something different in lining up to get ice cream like a normal person—well, close enough.
"Do you like chocolate?" Jeremy asked.
Theo shook his head. "I'm more of a cookies and cream guy."
