Healing-Sophie's POV

3 Months later:

Sophie was sitting with her friends in her living room at Havenfield. Edaline and Grady remembered her as soon as they saw her. Elwin had been able to heal her shins pretty fast, but her eyes were still healing turns out they had cut her eyelids in half, so Elwin had to stitch them back together, and she still had to wear a bandage over them to help them heal. Sophie memorized the house so she could navigate it without help. 

"Hey, Sophie do you wanna pay base quest?" Biana asked. 
"Yeah!" Sophie said, grinning. She stood up and ran outside. She ran into someone, "Sorry!" she said, sliding off them. 

"It's fine Sophie," they said it was a councilor Sophie ran into a counsilor. The rest of her friends followed, Sophie stood and held out her hand to help the councilor up. They grasped her hand and she pulled them up. 

"Sophie, he asked to see you," they said, Sophie gasped backing up, shaking her head.  

"Why now?" Keefe asked coming up behind her. She heard her other friends surround her too. 

"We don't know." they said, Sophie realized it was Oralie.

"Can I take people with me?" Sophie asked trying to calm down from her panic, she remembered everything of the past two years, and a lot of it no one knew about.

"Yes, although we suggest Tam and Keefe since they've already seen Ruy, and are prepared to handle him, and can watch over you." She said.

"Ok, Keefe and Tam it is then, when do we go" she asked

"Now is probably best."Oralie said Sophie nodded. walking over to Oralie, she heard Keefe and Tam follow they linked hands and leapt to Exile. 

Oralie guided them, in and stood by the door. Sophie grabbed both Keefe and Tam's hands. 

"Hello Sophie, Hows my wife doing?" Ruy said.

"I am not your wife!" she growled.

"I don't know you said the vows didn't you." 

"No, you said them for me"

"Do your friends and family even know what happened to you in those two years?" he asked. Sophie shifted uncomfortably, she licked her lips not answering. "Thats what I thought" Keefe and Tam both squeezed her hands. 

"Why did you want to meet" she asked.

"Can a man not ask to see his wife."

"I am not your wife, you are not my husband!" she yelled.

"Fine...I wanted to see how you were getting along with being back."

"Stop. Lying." She growled, Keefe squeezed her hand letting her know she needed to calm down. 

"I want you to get me a trial." he said.

"Why? We already know your guilty." she said.

"No, you think I'm guilty, and everyone believes you. I want a chance to prove I'm innocent."

" Too bad-"

"I'm still your husband whether you believe me or not Sophie..." he said,

"So you can't hurt me anymore if your in jail" she said, keeping her emotions under wraps.

"I already have and I can continue to" she heard him chuckle after saying this. 

"alright meetings over." Oralie said, guiding them out of the room, Sophie heard Ruy yell that he could still get to her. They leapt home and Sophie headed to her room. Dark memories floating through her head. She wondered if she had actually said I do or not.
