Sophie felt the sweat trickling down her back, they were practicing levitating and body temperature control at the same time. Sophie dropped landing on her back she sat up quickly and floated back up. She closed her eyes in concentration, 

"Alright, that's it for today." she heard Coach Bora say she opened her eyes as she lowered herself to the ground, and she went to leave when Ruy came up to her.

"Gisele wants to see you," he said

"Tell her to hail me," she said lifting her crystal to the light. 

"Sophie!" Coach Bora called. Sophie spun and walked to the teacher. "Work on your levitation tonight." 

"Yes mam," she said before leaping home. She went into the house and met Edaline, who stood next to Keefe, she shoved her hood off and took off her mask, 

"Hey, Foster," he said smirking

"Hey Keefe, let's go upstairs, also Edaline I did it again so be careful," she said with a wink to Edaline.  

They walked upstairs to her room, "watch your step" she said as they entered her room.

"Your room is so bland how do you live in it?" Keefe asked.

"I don't know but I have to practice levitation so why don't you tell me your ideas while I practice that." She said as she floated up.

"Sophie maybe you should stop doing that before you hurt yourself," Keefe said as Sophie collapsed onto the floor. 

"I'm good, so what plan is your favorite?" she asked changing the subject. Taking a deep breath she levitated again. Memories of her family in the forbidden cities were plaguing her and she was fighting to keep her emotions bottled. 

"Whoa, Foster those are some strong feelings." she heard Keefe say "Want to explain them or talk about it?"

"Nope. You still haven't-" she said gasping as she collapses and blinding light filled her vision. She covered her ears, blocking out the memory of her parents and littesister as the found out she had died. 

" sophie!" She heard a panicked keefer say feeling his hands touch her wrists gently. Sophie pried her eyes open.

"Sorry.." she mumbled standing up and levitating into the air. 

" for what?" Keefe asked levitating shakily in front of her.

" making you feel...that." she said as she corralled her emotions.

" Sophie don't apologize for being broken, and hurting, and try to not bottle up the pain." He said staring at her. 

"Sounds like you speak from expierience." Sophie noted. He laughed and looked away.

"I don't have the most cheery life" he said
