Questions-Sophie POV

Sophie smiled today she was going to see if she could see. She skipped into her closet elated that the day had finally come when she might finally be able to open her eyes after four months. She grabbed a tunic, and pants, and skipped out to check with Vertina that they fit. 

"Twice this has happened we're making progress, Sophie," she said, Sophie grinned and skipped back to her closet, she slipped on her clothes and flopped back onto her bed sighing. She heard a knock, 

"Come in," she said, she heard someone walk in and felt the bed shift.

"Hey Foster," he said.  Sophie smiled and spun towards him wrapping him in a hug.

"Keefe!" she squealed before backing away sure she was blushing. "Uh, What brings you here so early in the morning?" she asked.

"Came to see your eyes for the first time when Elwin, takes the bandage off," he said his voice kind of raspy, Sophie realized he was emotional about this maybe even crying.

"Thanks, Keefe, that means a lot to me," she said patting his hand, she left her hand on top of his. Someone cleared their throat, and they both spun towards the noise.

"Elwins here Sophie," Grady said. She slid off her bed, grabbing Keefe's wrist and dragging him down the stairs, into the living room. 

"Hey, Elwin!" she said flopping herself onto the couch, she heard Keefe trip and hit the floor. "Oops sorry Keefe," she said, he started snickering probably cause she was bright red again. 

"Ok then...Ready to get started, Sophie?" Elwin asked, She nodded her head really fast probably going to regret it later, but hey who cares about whiplash?

"I'm as ready as Anna throwing a snowball at Marshmellow," she said,  

"Uh, Foster?" Keefe asked as Elwin started doing his usual check-up with his light thing probably.

"Yeah, Keefe?" she said, smirking.

"Whose Anna?"

"Whose Anna, you don't know what Frozen isss?" she exclaimed.

"Uhh no? Why would I" he asked, Sophie, imagined a really confused expression on his face and snickered.

"That is going to change," she said mysteriously as Elwin began to unwrap the bandage. She felt the cloth leave and saw a hint of light through her eyelids. 

"Okay open them slowly, Sophie," Elwin said.  She opened her eyes slowly light filling her vision first, and then she took in the room around her, wowed, her eyes roved around the room landing on Elwin and then Keefe. 

"Wow..."She murmured grinning happily. Elwin handed her some vials and gave her instructions on what to do with them, writing them down for her also. She wrapped Elwin in a hug,

"Thank you..." she whispered and she felt his arms wrap around her,

"You're welcome, Sophie," he said, before ending the hug. 

Sophie bounced off the couch grabbing Keefe's hand she dragged him outside. 

"Sophie? Where are you taking me?" he said following her. She grabbed her leaping crystal, grinning at him, 

"You'll see," she said as they glittered away.

They appeared in the forest where Linh and Tam lived. She dragged Keefe with her bursting into the little hut that they had. 

"Sophie!" Linh squealed, wrapping her in a hug, before pushing her back and taking a look at her eyes. She smiled, "There beautiful" Sophie grinned, and turned to where Tam was standing.

"Hey Sophie," he said quietly staring at her eyes. 

"Hey Tam, Oh by the way we're going to a meeting with Ruy, but uh you guys have to stand right outside the door, umm, soo were going now," she said, grabbing his hand she smiled at Linh before leaping to Enternalia, she opened her eyes and headed for Councilor Oralies, castle. 

"We're going today," she said when Oralie opened the door. Oralie nodded, and came out holding up a different crystal, they leaped there. Winding their way through the halls, they made it to Ruys cell. The guard unlocked it and Sophie went in on her own. She felt Tam's Shadow, following her, and knew Keefe could feel her emotions.

"Sophie," Ruy said tilting his head and smiling at her. "I see you've recovered completely now" 

"Enough, what do you want," she said, crossing her arms. He stood up walking towards the bars separating him from her he ran his finger across a few of them, it made a loud ringing noise and Sophie cringed from the loud noise. Not being able to see apparently heightened her hearing, and it was really annoying. 

"I want a trial," he said meeting her eyes, grinning.

"I already told you-"

"I know I know, I can't have one blah blah blah," he said rolling his eyes "But you're going to get me one" 

"And why would I do that?" she said,

"Because you love me and still want me, after all, we are married..."

"Shut up. We are not married, I do not. Want you. And I don't love you anymore" she said,

"Ah, so you admit it you did love me," he said

"No, you tricked me into saying it, and you took things from me that weren't yours to take," she said walking closer. 

"How do you know that? You meant it when you said it, I know you" he said

Sophie paused, had she ugh... she was just letting him win. 

"I see you're thinking about it Soph..." he said using her nickname, she shook her head in disgust. 

"Fine, I'll ask for a trial for you, I'll even be your lawyer," she said sarcastically.

"Perfect. Then we can get a house together, and have a family... You were being sarcastic, nice to see you haven't lost your fire." Ruy said grinning, "but remember, I can control you, it's only a matter of time before you remember how much you love me" 

Sophie spun around leaving, 

"Enough Ruy, you're staying in Exile where you belong," she said, letting Tam and Keefe know she was done. She took a deep breath as they unlocked the door, burying her emotions, and exited the room not missing Ruy's smirk.

Sophie paced the room. Keefe and Tam sat on her floor watching her.

"Sophie what did her tell you," Keefe said. 

"Nothing. just that he wants a trial and I said no," she said. 

"Nope." they both said at the same time. Sophie stopped pacing and sat down facing them. 

"Fine, you want to know?" she asked. they nodded and she placed her fingers on both their temples, shoving the memory of what happened with Ruy in Exile into their heads. She sat back and watched them.

"That's what happened."
