I sat watching through my spy ball as Amy, started her first day of school. She looked taller now, but I could tell she still grieved from my death. It still angered me that there's an entire world of telepaths, and not a single one could erase me from their memories to spare them the pain of losing a child.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

I stood up placing the ball in its drawer I moved the blankets to cover it, and closed the door. I went to the door and opened it. Gethen stood in front of me, I moved to shut my door, but he shoved his foot in and stopped me.

"You have training, Gisela is getting mad" He said, I rolled my eyes.

"So what if she gets mad, its not like she can take me and force me to marry someone-"

"But she can do so much worse, don't you see Sophie" He said, pushing into my room I groaned frustrated and closed my door.

"what is there left for her to do, Gethen, she ruined two years of my life already, I've got these permanent scars on my face-"

"Amy Rose Foster, 11 years old, she lives in San Francisco-"

"And as far as she knows, I am dead, so why can't you just leave her alone, and not dredge up grief"

"Go to training then Sophie, I can't do anything to stop Gisela" He said he held his light crystal up, and held his hand out me like I was five, I rolled my eyes and stepped close to him. He grumbled something under his breath and grabbed my arm.

I tensed as the warm light took us away. Glancing up I noticed that the crystal wasn't clear.

I pulled my arm away from him as soon as we materialized, I saw Gisela, and she smiled at me.

"Ah Sophie so kind of you to join us,"

"What is it Gisela, I have things to do" I growled, angry that she would dare threaten my sister. Her grin grew, and got more evil,

"Oh, you mean like getting Ruy out of Exile right?"

I punched her in the face, and she just laughed,

"I will not be doing anything to get him out of Exile"

"Shame, I guess you're parents are going to have to go through the pain of losing another child" She said, tapping her chin and looking innocently at me.

"You wouldn't" I said, my emotions playing on my face no doubt.

She leaned in real close to me, and looked me in the eyes.

"I would." she said, then she snapped her fingers, "Gethen chop chop, this one needs to do training today, I'm sure she's forgotten a lot."

I fisted my hands, fighting the urger to hit her again, but she was right I don't think I ever did training with Ruy, and I hadn't been able to see when I got back so I hadn't trained then either. She turned and walked away, she was wearing the least fancy gown I'd seen her in since I met her.

"Harder Sophie, do you think it's going to be easy when you need these skills!" He yelled at me, and I almost threw the throwing star at him.

"Gethen if you don't shut up, I'm going to actually kill you and rip your insides out, I'll give you a nice medieval death" I growled as I pulled my telekinesis together and tried to lift the water.

He was convinced for some stupid reason that you don't have to be a hydrokinetic to control water, you're skills just have to be strong enough. I concentrated more on using my invisible hands to lift the water and get it to move from one bin to the next.

My imparter rang breaking my concentration and the water dropped and so did I from the sudden loss of carrying water. I pulled it out, and saw it was Fitz, I groaned he doesn't know about this and he can't know about it.

Before I can do anything Gethen grabs the imparter and answers it.

"Sophie's busy right now-"

"Who are you!" she heard Fitz yell,

"No one for you to concern you're pretty little rich boy head with" He said and then he hung up I assume because he turned to me. "Sophie keep going you haven't managed to move have the water-"

"Maybe it's because I'm not a Hydrokinetic!"

"And I told you that you're skill of telekinesis should be strong enough to carry water" He snapped back.

I tightened my grip and focused on the water again, I closed my eyes and used my hand to Guide the water, I imagined the two bins and the water floating up and into the other. My muscles  cramped and I fell, I heard water and my eyes popped open. I saw that the water had dropped right over Gethen.

He was very angry, and if I wasn't terrified of what was going to happen next I would definitely be laughing.

He closed his eyes and wiped his hands to try to get the water out of his eyes.

"Go home before I actually fight you" he said, I scrambled and grabbed my leaping crystal I leapt home. I appeared in the pastures and I saw one of the councilors I hadn't seen since I first came here.

"Councilor Bronte?" I said, confusion filling my face. He looked at my tired and sweaty appearance, a look of equal confusion.

"Ms. Foster I see you have some, interesting activities?" He said trailing off, I shrugged,

"And why are you here?" I asked, trying to smooth my hair down.

"I wanted to talk to you about his trial, I'm aware that Oralie has spoken to you?" He asked, and I nodded.

"Come let's go inside, and you can change and get food, and we'll discuss my questions I have," He said, gesturing to the house.
