Silly conversations (Jily)

Lily had just finished her breakfast. She was discussing a Potions project with Remus, they were working on it together and it had to be handed in today.

Lily and Remus were finished with eating, but were still waiting for the others to finish as well before they headed off to their first lesson: Potions.

While they were talking, they heard Sirius yell from the other side of the table, 'Oi Lily! Don't steal my boyfriend!'

She laughed and rolled her eyes, of course she wouldn't "steal" Remus; she was way too badly in love with James to even look at someone else.

When the others were finally finished with their food, they left the Great Hall together. Potions was one of the only subjects they took with all of them together.

Behind her, Lily heard Mary and Marlene talking about their Potions project, and in front of her the 4 Marauders were also complaining about it.

Then James slowed down a bit, so that he was walking next to Lily.

'Hey gorgeous, did you sleep well?' He asked her.

'Yeah, but I'm still a bit tired.' She answered, while James grabbed her hand.

But they were already at the classroom, so there was no time to talk for any longer, and Lily walked towards her seat.

Professor Slughorn immediately started talking about their projects, but he had already said the same things in a lesson last week, so Lily wasn't really listening.

Then James handed her a note.

Hey Lily-Flower, are you bored?

Was written on it. Lily smiled, during unimportant lessons she liked passing notes.

Yes, he has already said all this stuff earlier

She wrote back. A few seconds later James passed the note again.

How do you remember that? Ö

Well... I pay attention and write things down, maybe you should also do that?

This time it took a little longer before James wrote back, maybe he had finally realized he really never payed attention during any lesson, Lily thought.

No, but when they discus really important stuff, I can borrow your notes, right? :)

Of course he could, but it was good to make him regret not paying attention, for a moment.

What if you can't?

Pleaseeee, I don't want to fail my subjects :(

Lily smiled to herself again, James was a bit silly sometimes, but it was cute.

After a few minutes, James passed her another note.

Every time I say your name, I'm actually saying I love you, look:
The L stands for love, the i stand for I, and the y stands for you.
Lily means 'Love, I love you!'

Aw, that was sweet. James must have been really bored that he had came up with this, but it was really cute, Lily thought.

For anyone else it maybe would have been really silly to pass notes like that, but for Lily, it was one of her favorite things to do.
