Sebastien woke up to an alarm that he did not remember setting. He smacked his hand around until he found his phone and shut the alarm off. He sighed loudly and rubbed his face as he recalled his dream.
  Was it a dream?
Sebastien sat up and looked around his apartment with half squinted eyes.
  No Alek.
Maybe the whole night was a dream. The presence of disheveled sheets and two towels on the floor disproved that theory. Alek was here, Sebastien just had to figure out if he actually got a handjob from him or if he painted himself a very vivid picture.
  It felt so real, though.
  Not important right now, Bash.
He finally got up and rushed to get ready for work. The part of his brain that longed for romantic clichés briefly thought that maybe Alek went out to get breakfast and would be back with a smile and a kiss. Yeah, he let go of that and laughed immediately.

Sebastien had been working for God knows how long, the usually busy Sunday kept him so occupied that he didn't have time to wonder why he still hasn't seen Alek today.
"I heard Mr. Employee of the month was late this morning." Robbie smirked as Sebastien entered the kitchen for the nth time.
Sebastien rolled his eyes as he put a tray of empty cups into the sink. "I wasn't late. I was on time."
"That's late for you, Bash. You're always the first one here." Ben chuckled, sticking new orders onto Robbie's line.
"I just slept in a little. No big deal." Sebastien sighed and started grabbing plates of freshly made food.
"Um yes, big deal. Last time you just slept in, you told us later that day that-" Ben interrupted himself with a gasp. "You hooked up with someone!"
Robbie turned away from the stove. "Tell us everything right now."
Sebastien huffed and rolled his eyes again. "I didn't hook up with someone. I was up late. I slept in. That's all. Ask Pheebs, she'll tell you."
"Oh I'm sure she could tell us a lot of things. I know you're lying, Bash." Ben said with a knowing look.
"Not lying." Sebastien said, then ran out to deliver the orders he was holding to avoid further questioning.
Unfortunately, he had to immediately go back into the kitchen to get the rest and couldn't stall until Ben and Robbie dropped their curiosity.
He took a deep breath as he reentered the kitchen, Ben's immediate resumption prompting another roll of his eyes.
"At least tell us what happened. You don't have to tell us who it was. Just don't lie to your best friends, Bashy."
"You guys are too invested my life." Sebastien said as he started gathering the rest of the completed orders.
"And I am not ashamed of it." Robbie half shouted.
"Me either. It's not our fault you lead this super dramatic life where you constantly get screwed over and played by straight guys who don't give two fucks about you." Ben crossed his arms and then his jaw slowly dropped."You didn't."
"Didn't what?" Robbie turned to face them again, his hand still holding a utensil that was buried in a large pot.
Ben was giving Sebastien a harsh, almost worried glare. "Bash...please please tell me you didn't fuck him."
"Fuck who!? I feel seriously left out over here." Robbie huffed.
"Alek." Ben said, his arms still crossed.
  Robbie's eyes widened. "Bash! No!"
"We didn't fuck. Gosh. Calm down, both of you. We can talk after work if you're so desperate to know, but I am very fucking busy right now." Sebastien sighed, then turned on his heel and left the kitchen.

Right after the lunch rush, Sebastien wanted to set his head on fire. All he could think about was Alek. His perfect smile, his perfect laugh, his perfect body, his perfect hand and how it felt around his dick. And of course how Alek was supposed to be beside him all day today, shadowing him.
Why he didn't show up was beyond him and he hated how the curiosity wouldn't leave his mind. But it's fine. Really.
It's not like he was starting to like him as a person. It's not like he actually thought Alek would follow through and their stupid bet would bring them closer and make them actual friends.
  Fuck. Should've pushed him away.
"Bash..why are you poking at your food like a teenage girl who just got broken up with?"
Sebastien looked up and was finally met with dusty blond hair and green eyes. He stared blankly at Alek, waiting for further explanation, but not at all surprised that he was acting like nothing happened.
"I'm tired. It's been hell all day. I'm running on like three hours of sleep and a watery ass coffee. I want to go home." Sebastien sighed, pushing his face harder against his hand.
Alek chuckled and sat next to him. "And here I thought the handjob would give you the best sleep of your life."
Sebastien knew the kitchen was empty, but he still looked around the room. "So it wasn't a dream?"
"No, but I'm flattered that you are so easily convinced that it could've been." Alek leaned closer. "Do you dream about me often?"
  Sebastien slightly furrowed his eyebrows.
"Why do you always look at me like you don't take anything I'm saying seriously?" Alek asked softly.
"Because I don't." Sebastien pushed his food away, no longer interested in what was left.
  "Why?"
"Because I've seen and heard it all before, Alek. I know what you're doing and quite frankly, I am not in the mood." Sebastien stood up and dumped his cold leftovers out, then walked over to the sink.
He pretended to not hear Alek stand up. He also pretented to not notice that he walked over and stood directly behind him.
Alek's hands slowly wrapped around Sebastien's waist. "So..what am I doing, exactly?"
Sebastien ignored him and continued to wash his plate.
Alek suddenly jerked Sebastien backwards, making him drop the plate into the sink. Alek chuckled lowly, his lips grazing Sebastien's ear, "Oops."
Sebastien sighed. "Alek, what are you doing?"
Alek smirked against his ear. "I'm just having a bit of fun. Nothing wrong with that."
Sebastien was fighting internally with himself and any morals he could only hope to have. He's walked this fucking walk before and it's painful. All he is is a fucking test. A meaningless experiment to see if douchey straight guy of the week likes dick or not. Spoiler: he always does, but will never admit it.
"Fun? Is that what you call psychological torture? That's very sociopathic of you." Sebastien chuckled, already hating how easy it was for him to lean back against Alek.
"I psychologically torture you? I don't think I should take that as a compliment, but I definitely do." Alek's hands were moving along Sebastien's hips and he was going crazy.
"I have to get back to work." Sebastien said, managing to free himself from Alek's hold. It was partially a lie. He still has 10 minutes of his break left, but Ben's voice wouldn't get out of his head, telling him not to fall for it. Alek said he's just having fun, and if he falls into such an obviously labeled trap, Ben would never let him hear the end of it.
"Are you sure about that?" Alek titled his head gently. His hair fell over his eyes and it took everything in Sebastien's power to not step forward and kiss him.
Sebastien sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "So, are you like backing out of the whole shadowing me at work thing?"
"What? No. Why would you think that?" Alek asked, his eyebrows furrowed.
"I haven't seen you all day and then you show up and just don't say anything about it. Not to mention, you left before I woke up. Altogether, it kind of feels like you don't want to do it." Sebastien said, retying his apron.
"I thought we were starting tomorrow? At the beginning of the week?"
"You're one of those fuckers?" Sebastien chuckled. "The calendar week starts on Sunday, cariño."
"I've always started shit on Mondays, my bad." Alek held his hands up in defense.
"Well, there's no going back now, so I'll see you tomorrow."
"Wait." Alek grabbed Sebastien's wrist, stopping him from walking away.
"Oh for the love of everything sweet and fucking holy." Sebastien muttered.
Alek turned him around and pulled him closer. "Do you want to come over after work?"
Sebastien thought about it for a second. He really tried to go over every possible outcome, but his brain wouldn't let him think of anything except he wants to fuck. He knows it's not true. He's just horny and very attracted to Alek, so of course he's going to read into situations and jump to sexual conclusions.
  "Um..why?" Sebastien asked.
"I liked hanging out with you. Why else?" Alek chuckled.
And there was the clarification that Sebastien needed. He stepped back a little and nodded. "I'll think about it."
"I hope you say yes." Alek stepped forward and looked down at him with hooded eyes.
To say Sebastien was confused would be the biggest fucking understatement. Alek was captivating and so very good at messing with Sebastien's head. Why the fuck he keeps doing it, he has no idea. But Alek makes him feel ways he hasn't felt in a long time and damn, it's hard to walk away from.
