"Don't answer it!" Sebastien sat up farther.
Alek kept staring at the screen, his face pale and his mouth parted slightly. He looked up to Sebastien. "You sure I can't take just one more-"
"No, Leks. You can't. You'll be fine. Because you aren't going to answer it." Sebastien said slowly.
Alek sighed, continuously flicking his eyes from the phone to Sebastien. He leaned forward and kissed Sebastien quickly. "I love you."
  "Alek, no, don't-"
Alek smacked his hand over Sebastien's mouth as he answered the phone. "Hello?"
  "Aleksander.."
The sound alone of Michael saying his name had Alek moving his hand to tightly grip Sebastien's t-shirt sleeve. Alek's nails dug into his skin in the process.
"Why are you calling me?" Alek asked, his voice calm, but slightly shaky.
"It is your birthday, isn't it? I am your father, Aleksander. I have the right to be in your life."
Sebastien opened his mouth to speak, but Alek beat him to it.
"You don't have the right to do anything! I have so many fucking things I want to say to you, but you don't deserve my time! You don't deserve an explanation! You deserve to die a slow painful death with none of your children by your side!"
Sebastien raised his eyebrows, whispering, "Damn, baby."
"Aleksander, at least hear me out-"
  "No. Fuck off."
"Don't use that tone with me. I'm still your father. That's completely disrespectful." Michael snapped.
"Please keep it coming, dad, this is really making me want to talk to you." Alek rolled his eyes.
"Let me talk. Let me say some shit to him." Sebastien whispered harshly.
Alek leaned back when Sebastien reached for the phone, moving to the side to dodge Sebastien's hand. "Yeah. Okay. Fine. When?"
Sebastien held Alek tightly and flipped them over, pinning his back to the mattress. "When what? What is he asking you to do?"
"Okay. See you then." Alek pulled the phone away from his ear and tossed it onto Sebastien's nightstand, rolling his eyes.
"Leks..what the hell did you agree to?"
"He asked me to meet him for lunch."
"Why would you agree to that? When is it? Where are you going? Why are you going?"
"Calm down, Ben, I'm not going." Alek chuckled, rolling his eyes.
"Well then why did you say you were?"
"So I can stand him up. I'm not going to let him back into my life, but making him think that I will and then ghosting him is going to hurt a hell of a lot more than telling him straight up."
"I'm so fucking proud of you." Sebastien smiled, leaning down to kiss Alek. He kissed back, placing his hands on either side of Sebastien's face and pushing his hair back.
"I don't think that was me, I think it was the new medication. Xanax could've never gotten me through that."
  "Paxil for the win, huh?"
"At first, I didn't think so. It was hard getting used to, but around week three, I really started to notice a difference. A positive one. It's weird, but I like it." Alek smiled, lacing his hands at the back of Sebastien's neck.
Sebastien leaned down and kissed him, smiling against his mouth. "I'm so happy for you, Leks."
"Do you think maybe we could try that date thing again? I really feel like I can do it. And I still feel bad for ruining our first one." Alek said, twirling the back of Sebastien's hair around his fingers.
  "You didn't ruin it."
"Yes I did, don't lie. It didn't even feel like a date. It wasn't a date."
"It might not have felt like a date, but that was still a really important day. I hate that you had to go through that, but it prompted you telling me about it and sharing things with me that I wanted to know." Sebastien rubbed his thumb against Alek's side gently. He took a breath, staring at the fabric of Alek's shirt. "Leks...if that didn't happen that day...would you have ever told me?"
"Yeah. Eventually, I think. I definitely didn't expect to tell you then, but I think it worked out. I was to the point where I could tell that I was in a bad place, but I needed someone to help me out of it. It had to be you."
"Why do we always end up like this?"
"What? On top of each other?"
"No," Sebastien chuckled, "Talking about deep, sappy shit. I love it, don't get me wrong, but I started today thinking that I'd have you naked and screaming right now, but here we are..being fucking emotional."
"I cry a lot, get used to it." Alek smiled, leaning up to kiss Sebastien.
"I'm about to make you cry for a different reason." Sebastien smirked, slowly slipping his hand beneath the fabric of Alek's shirt.
Sebastien had kissed every inch of Alek's body so many times, but he has yet to get tired of it. Alek's skin always felt smooth beneath his lips and every time he switched places, Alek would let out the prettiest little sound. He now had pictures of ink to kiss and trace with his tongue. Alek loved that.
Alek's hair was curled with sweat, his head digging into the mattress, and his hands scratching down Sebastien's back.
Sebastien was beautifully overwhelmed by how Alek felt beneath him. The addition of their tongues colliding and Alek's nails on his back just made it so much more intense.
After the sun had set, the room was hot, and Sebastien's hips were tired, the two boys relaxed into the mattress.
"Happy birthday to me." Alek exhaled, turning towards Sebastien with a tired, fucked-out smile.
Sebastien pulled Alek against him and kissed the top of his head. "I love you."
Alek relaxed into Sebastien's arms and pushed his face against his chest, mumbling a response that ended with soft steady breaths fanning Sebastien's skin.
Sebastien would like to say something romantic and sappy like he woke up in the same position he fell asleep in, but instead, he woke up with Alek's foot digging into his stomach. He had barely opened his eyes before Alek's hand swiped across his face, his fingers poking him in the eye.
"Ow, fuck, Leks." Sebastien pushed Alek's arm back to his side. He leaned his head up and saw that Alek was laying at a diagonal. "Don't let me take up too much room."
Sebastien pushed Alek's foot off of his stomach and leaned back against his pillow, that was hanging off of the mattress. Within seconds, Alek's leg was thrown back on top of him, his heel barely missing his dick.
"Woah, you're treading awfully close to enemy territory, babe." Sebastien pushed Alek's leg off again. He decided to sit up, so he could avoid Alek actually kicking him in the dick.
"Don't leave." Alek partially sat up, only to drag Sebastien back down with him.
Sebastien chuckled. "I have work, Leks."
"Do you have to go?" Alek whined, pulling Sebastien closer.
"Do I have to go to my job? Yes, baby." Sebastien kissed Alek on the forehead and then sat back up. "You literally have a membership--hell, your mom fucking owns the place; you can visit me, you know."
"I can't always be around, though." Alek rolled over, making most of the blankets fall of off him.
"Why? Cause I'm just so pretty all you'd wanna do is fuck me?" Sebastien smirked as he stepped into his pants.
"I was gonna say because we need to have time to miss each other, but yeah, your answer is totally valid."
"You driving me?" Sebastien asked, now buttoning his shirt.
"Yeah, I guess I can waste my precious gas money on you." Alek sighed, sitting up, his messy curls falling around his sleepy face.
Sebastien rolled his eyes. "Get dressed, I can't be late. Ben might be less uptight now that he gets fucked on the regular, but he's still very strict during the summer."
"Yeah, I noticed when he threw an apron at me, called me Anthony, and told me to stop slacking off and get to work." Alek said as he climbed out of bed.
"In his defense, that was our first week back at the clubhouse, it was hectic as fuck, and Anthony was the worst employee ever. He worked there less than a week before he got fired."
  "Oh damn."
