Chloe's P.O.V.

I sighed as boredom filled my entire being as well flew. We've been flying for days, and haven't seen a thing yet. Sokka is doing nothing to help brighten up our journey this time. Maybe I should just start throwing stuff at them, we could have some fun that way right? I jumped when Sokka suddenly exclaimed of excitement:

"There it is!"

We looked to see the beautiful Earth Kingdom City standing firm. Aang flew Appa down landing him in front of the general and his soldiers. The general gave us all a smile as he stepped closer to us. We all started to stretch as he spoke with a welcoming smile:

"Welcome, Avatar Aang! I am General Fong. And welcome to all of you great heroes–Appa, Momo, brave Sokka, the Mighty Katara, the brave water bending warrior Chloe, the mighty Sapphire, the outstanding Jami and Aidan-"

"Mighty Katara? I like that," Katara stated as she crossed her arms.

"You hear that Sokka? I'm a water bender and a warrior. Take that oh wise one," I said to Sokka in a mocking teasing tone.

"Are you trying to say you're better than me?" He asked cocking an eyebrow as he looked at me.

"Yep," I replied casually with a smile.

"Wait so, my sister gets brave water bending warrior and all me and Katara get is mighty? Wow, I can see who your favorite water bender is," Sapphire complained as she crossed her arms.

We looked up to the sky as fire works sounded above the city. A smile crossed me and Sokka as we watched them.

"Not bad, not bad," Sokka spoke happily.

We each sat in a line next to one another in the General's war room.

"Avatar Aang, we were all amazed at the stories of how you single-handedly wiped out an entire Fire Navy fleet at the North Pole. I can't imagine what it feels like to wield such devastating power. It's an awesome responsibility," General Fong said to Aang curiously.

"I try not to think about it too much," Aang told him.

"Avatar, you're ready to face the Fire Lord now,"

"What?! No I'm not!"

"Aang, still needs to master all four elements," Katara told the general calmly but sternly.

"Why? With the kind of power he possesses,-"

The general stood from where he sat.

"Power enough to destroy hundreds of battleships in a matter of minutes, he could defeat the Fire Lord now," Fong exclaimed with much determination.

"But sir, the thing is, Aang can only do those things, when he's in the Avatar State," Sokka told the general.

"See, it's this special state where-" Aang started before the general interrupted:

"I'm well aware! Your eyes and tattoos glow, and you're able to summon unbelievable power. Without you, we'd be slaughtered, before we reach their shores, -"

Fong walked over to his map not too far from the table.

"But with you leading the way, as the ultimate weapon, we could cut a swath right through to the heart of the Fire Nation."

"Right, but–I don't know how to get in or out of the Avatar state, much less what to do once I'm there," Aang said to him ashamed as he looked to the floor.

"So it's decided then-"

He turned to face us.

"I'll help you figure out how to get into the Avatar State, and then you'll face your destiny,-"
