Chloe's P.O.V.
Sokka had a questioning look across his face as he looked over the map. I sat next to him with my legs crossed, sharpening my boomerang.
"You have no idea where you're going do you?" Sokka questioned Aang as he looked at him.
"Well, I know it's near water," Aang told him.
"I guess we're getting close then," Sokka spoke sarcastically.
"Momo, marbles please - Hey, Katara, check out this airbending trick!" Aang said to Katara excitedly.
I looked over just as Aang used airbending to move the marbles around in a circle without touching them. Katara was busy sewing up the hole in Sokka's pants. I was trying to focus on sharpening my boomerang, so I wasn't focused on the fact that Sokka wasn't wearing any pants. Sapphire was enjoying giving me those teasing looks.
"Hey, sis, how you doin' over there?" Sapphire asked me teasingly.
I still paid attention to my boomerang.
"Shut up!" I spoke sternly trying not to smile.
All she did was laugh.
"Katara look!" Aang said to her again.
She paid no attention to Aang as she said: " That's great Aang."
A disappointed, saddened look crossed Aang's face, as he stopped doing the trick.
"You didn't even look," he spoke disappointedly.
Katara nonchalantly looked over at Aang. He wasn't even doing the trick now.
"That's great," she spoke trying to act enthused.
"But I'm not doing it now," he said to her still disappointed.
"Stop bugging her airhead. You need to give girls space when they do their sewing," Sokka said to Aang gesturing to him to leave Katara alone.
I stopped sharpening my boomerang as Katara stopped sewing his pants to look at him. Katara looked annoyed as she looked at her brother.
"What does me being a girl have to do with sewing?" Katara asked him irritably.
A casual look crossed Sokka.
"Simple. Girls are better at fixing pants than guys and guys are better at hunting and fighting and stuff like that -"
Katara looked beyond annoyed.
"It's just the natural order of things," Sokka stated in a casual tone.
"If that's the case then how come I beat you in our sword fight a couple days ago?" I asked Sokka cocking an eyebrow.
"Easy. I let you win, - I didn't want to hurt my best friends self-esteem," Sokka answered.
"Right, you sure looked like it when you looked pretty upset that Chloe beat you," Sapphire said to him amused.
"It was an act - for Chloe - I'm good aren't I?" Sokka spoke.
"Yeah, right," I stated in disbelief.
Katara was still annoyed with him.
"All done with your pants! -"
She held up his pants.
"And look what a great job I did!" she exclaimed sarcastically.
She threw Sokka's pants at him in anger. Sokka's pants landed on his face. I laughed softly as he scrambled to get his pants off his face. An alarmed look crossed him.
