Once again preforming the exact words his father told him to do Lloyd sighed as he finished only to be met with Garmadons eyes of disappointment. He was once again told he didn't do it right and he got more and more furious. Garmadon kept changing the steps of what he was meant to do to achieve Oni Form.

Lloyd groaned as Garmadon began another rant, Ninjago city was under the attack of the overlord with Harumi and the crystal council. While Garmadon seemed hell bent on helping Lloyd achieve Oni Form the green ninja wasn't so happy about it.

He was prepared to Zone out before something in Garmadon's delirious ranting and shouting caught his attention.
"Gah! It's so simple why can't you do it? If Harumi were here she'd have done it by now-" Harumi, that girl was both a poison and a drug to Lloyd but at the very mention of her a rush of emotions flew through Lloyd.

Love? Lloyd still loved Harumi? There was no way. She betrayed him, manipulated him, toyed with him... Thought he would join her stupid crystal council and just abandon Ninjago.

She was a Demon, a disease, Lloyd hated her with every fibre of his body and the fact his own father still cared about her but not his own son well that was the last straw if Lloyd could he would-

"Uh- Lloyd buddy, your hands..." Kai's voice drew Lloyd back and he gazed at his hands, petrified. There where his green flames would originate were purple flames.

Oni flames.

He quickly went into a panic and began to wave his arms around trying to diminish the flames but after two swings of his arms they were grabbed by Garmadon. "What are you doing?" The Lord of Darkness scolded his son. "We finally make some progress and you try to ruin it?"

Lloyd shook his head trying to break free from Garmadon's hold only to be stuck even more. "No no no stop I can't I can't-" He began to panic and hyperventilate causing the ninja to become worried and hurry closer to the two only to be shot a glare by Garmadon.

He turned back to his panicking son. "But you must Lloyd. Embrace it. Embrace your oni side why do you fight it?"

Voices of concern rose in the Ninja as they told Garmadon to let Lloyd go but they all knew better to get in between the Lord of Darkness and his son. "I- just can't I can't-" "Why do you deny your heritage. It is part of you, learn to embrace it, control it, why fight it?"

"BECAUSE MY WORST FEAR IS ENDING UP LIKE YOU."

Lloyd's flames grew and he continued noticing the silence of everyone. "I'm scared I'll end up like you. Oni can't care, they don't feel sympathy all you care about is winning, fighting and surviving you don't get that's there's more to life then battles and I'm scared that if I become an Oni then...

Then I'll end up like that too! I'll loose everyone in my life and I won't even care... I don't want any stupid Oni form and I can defeat the Overlord without it."

He snatched his hand away from Garmadon before noticing the looks of his friends and own father, he looked over to one of the mechs only to see his whole body encased in flames and eyes purple. His eyes widened before he looked back to everyone and back to his reflection.

Without thinking Lloyd turned and bloted out of the room getting in the elevator and going to the monesatary floor, he ran out and down the mountain the monesatary stood upon going to FSM knows where.

He ran into what looked like a forest stumbling down a hill and began to fall grabbing onto a fallen tree trunk and hyperventilating, he looked up to see members of the crystal Council circling the area looking for someone then one noticed him.

They began to fly to Lloyd and the headache in his head grew. Headache? When did that happen?

Lloyd tried to grab the side of his head as he tried to wipe of his fatigue and run from the incoming council only to be stopped, he looked up before realising there was something on his head, a gasp escaped his lips as he realised what was happening.

His horns began to grow.
