ℕ𝕚𝕟𝕛𝕒𝕘𝕠 𝕆𝕟𝕖𝕊𝕙𝕠𝕥𝕤 ~ 𝕆𝕠𝕗𝕥𝕠𝕓𝕖𝕣 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟚

𝕯𝖆𝖞 7 ~ 𝕾𝖙𝖆𝖋𝖋 𝖔𝖋 𝕰𝖑𝖊𝖒𝖊𝖓𝖙𝖘 ~

Kai and Chen both ran towards the Staff Of Elements, it was a competition to see who could get it first. Unfortunately for Chen it was Kai who managed to get it in his grasp, as he stood up, grip tight on the staff his once amber eyes formed into a red.
"Oh yeah Chen was right, this things awesome."
"No what am I saying?"

He began to shake his head, staff still in hand, as Lloyd and Skylor tried to call out to him. "Kai destroy the staff!" "You're being corrupted!" His eyes stopped shifting from amber to red finally landing on red before he turned to Lloyd and Skylor.

"NO one is taking my staff. You had all the power. Now it's my turn!" He went to attack Lloyd and Skylor before the two of them jumped out the way from the energy blast. Skylor went for the staff trying to get it out of Kai's hand only to be thrown out the way.

She tried to take the staff with her but only managed to throw it a bit into the ground forming a tiny crack. She felt her power come back to her. Kai saw the way her posture changed after she got up from the ground. He didn't have time to think about it though as an explosion came from the wall.

The courupted elemental master of fire used the staff's power to get out the way of the explosion. The other ninja arrived but they were no match for him.

Chens Island was now under Kai's control. He captured Chen after the battle of the elemental masters and Chen's army followed him immediately. While some escaped while gaining back their elemental powers some did not and they remained trapped on the island.

Now Skylor, Lloyd, Nya and Cole led a resistance against Kai and with no way off the island under the total control of their past commerade they remained in a hiding spot Skylor took them too.

She was Kai's biggest problem, gaining back her elemental power, Skylor had perviously absorbed everyone's element meaning she now had more elements then Kai did. Skylor was needed to be captured as long as she remained free Kai had no chance of taking over Ninjago.

The corrupted man helped his staff tightly as he went to the dungeon of the island, he traveled to the last cell along a line and went in. Chen smirked seeing Kai in his current state. "I assume from me not being dead you need me for something." Kai glared at the man before his distorted voice asked. "My parents. Tell me what you know about them."
