Nya walked into a coffee shop with Skylor, apparently she and Kai had gone on a date here and they loved the coffee so much Skylor wanted to go again with Nya.

Of course this may be true on Kai's part, while he had already got a job Nya was still at university with a part time job so she rarely got days off to hang out with him. Today was no diffrent as he was working today so he said she and Skylor should hang out for once and bond. In all fairness the two girls were relatively close already.

But you see Skylor, while she agreed yes it was nice to spend time with Nya, also had other intentions involving a certain batista who seemed to be working today.

Skylor turned to Nya as they found and sat at a table. "Nya, I'll just have a caramel macchiato can you order I'll wait at the table."  The ravenette nodded as she got out her purse and walked up to the register.

She looked around before finally being called, she walked up to the batista, he had curly brownish hair and little freckles on his cheeks with bright blue eyes. Nya felt sparks go through her as she saw him and was thankful that the little makeup she had on hid her very pink blush.

"Hiya what can I get you?"  Nya snapped out of her staring by his voice. She quickly ordered hers and Skylor's coffee before being told to wait for a bit, she moved to the side waiting for the coffee to look on her phone only to see a text from Skylor.

Nya's head shot up from her phone to glare at Skylor who was smirking at her from the table. As she was about to reply the boy called her back. He handed her the cups of coffee wishing her a good day and she responded with a thanks.

The two separated ways as Nya made her way back to Skylor, once she got there she put the coffees down before raising her voice at her friend.  "Excuse me what was this text?"  She pointed her finger at the phone screen showing the conversation between her and the very bored looking girl in front of her.

The red head simply sighed before taking Nya's phone and looking at it.  "Uh, looks to me like I'm asking you a question you didn't respond too. You can now though, was he cute?"

Nya began to blush as Skylor handed her, her phone back.  "L-like I'm gonna answer that what are you my sister?"  Skylor only raised her shoulders a little before bringing them back down and taking a sip of her drink.  "I mean I could eventually."

The two continued to chat and drink until it was time to leave, Skylor went to the bathroom leaving Nya at the table alone. She noticed someone walk up only to look up to see who it was.

It was the barista, he awkwardly started a conversation saying his name was Jay and that his shift was finishing soon and that he'd like to hang out with Nya. She responded saying she'd love too and gave him her number.

After a while of chatting Skylor came back saying she was heading off because Kai needed her for something, Nya waved and said she would be staying a bit longer but thanked Skylor for the drinks.

Soon enough Jay's shift ended and he and Nya left the cafe together. As they walked down the path the autumn leaves blew into Nya's hair which he picked out before they both blushed.

Nya then asked.  "So what made me so special that you decided to ask me out for a walk?"  She turned to the boy to see him scratching his cheek before replying. 

"Well I actually know your brother and he's talked about you a lot before, Skylor's also a friend and was talking you up but after seeing you myself I thought I'd go for it!"

She blinked a few times before blushing.  "O-oh"  Was all Nya could respond with, they continued walking again before moving out the way for passing people. They bumped into eachother causing their hands to brush against the others.

Nya, without thinking, grabbed Jay's hand. He quickly turned to her shocked before she said  "It's so we don't get separated!"  He nodded slightly as they continued walking of course there were barley any people now but still they held hands.

After another short distance they finally came across Nya's house.  "Wanna come in for a cup of coffee?"  She mentally slapped herself instantly though remembering he works around coffee all day and must be sick of it.

She was right of course Jay didn't really like coffee and was in fact sick of it. But he wasn't sick of her.

"Sure, I'd love some."
