ℕ𝕚𝕟𝕛𝕒𝕘𝕠 𝕆𝕟𝕖𝕊𝕙𝕠𝕥𝕤 ~ 𝕆𝕠𝕗𝕥𝕠𝕓𝕖𝕣 𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟚

𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟖 ~ 𝐀𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬 ~

Ray sweat working on new weapons for the time twins, Maya was currently out getting some more water and food for the two while he continued to work the fatigue slowly getting to him.

Every day he told himself it was for Kai and Nya, they couldn't protect themselves they were only children... Prehaps they weren't children anymore though, Ray had no sense of time in this place all he knew was every day he felt his elemental power becoming more drained.

That could mean Kai or Nya inherited his element of fire, Maya had a similar feeling about the element of water. If what the two of them thought was true... Maybe they could try form an escape soon, maybe they could their children again.

The elder master of fire was startled as a warrior came crashing though his door, he was attacked, attacks which he easily defended. Thoughts ran though his head, was this a serpentine warrior? No it couldn't be. The way the enemy moved was too close to Wus teachings...

Could it be?

The ninja began to produce flames from their hand. "Kai? Kai its me your father." His brows furrowed under the mask. "You're no father of mine. You traitor!"

A flame was thrown at Ray which he dodged easily before Kai began to throw more and more. "Please Kai! Let me explain I'm not a traitor!" His pleads ran deaf against Kai's ears, he continued attacking his father more and more recklessly.

This cycle continued Kai completely on the offense and Ray completely on the defensive of his sons attacks. Ray began to grow weaker as their fight went on, he couldn't keep this up for long, his hope was lost in trying to reason with his hatred driven son.

Kais normaly amber eyes had a red glint to them... It reminded Ray too much of Chen for comfort. Kai's attacks became slower, weaker, clearly he was also loosing stamina quickly. Ray tried to reason with him once more. "Please Kai, just let me explain." "You have NOTHING to explain. You abandoned me and Nya when I was just nine!"

The abandoned son went to throw another fire ball before a splash of water was thrown at him as a girl ran into the room. "Kai stop! Hear him out." Ray recognised her as soon as he saw that splash of water. "Nya he abandoned us! He was working with Krux and Acronix he's a traitor!"

"Is that what you think?" Kai gasped as he turned to see another person enter the small place you could barley call a home, his mother. "Nya! Get away from her she's just as much as a traitor as he is! They abandoned us when you were four Nya they left us to die!"

Kai didn't understand. Why was his sister standing so close to their mother not trying to fight her at all? Why wouldn't anyone understand! Why couldn't Nya of all people understand?

They have no reason to listen to the ones who left them to starve away and die, they would've had it not been for the village practically raised them until Kai decided to take care of Nya back in the blacksmith shop. This was it, Kai and Nya could finally have their revenge WHY WOULDN'T THEY UNDERSTAND?

"Kai stop this. They're our parents please just hear them out they have a reason!" Kai wracked at his brain trying to understand why why why why. "Nya I'm sorry."

The master of water couldn't say anything as her own brother knocked her out. He turned to his father his hand engulfed in a large flame that it almost reached the top of his shoulder. "Now you'll know the pain I felt having to raise Nya all alone while you worked with the enemy and betrayed everyone."

He turned his hand directing it towards his father, as he was about to let go ANOTHER person entered the home.

Kai turned to see the hands of time... Great timining. He internally sighed suppressing to roll his eyes, all he wanted was revenge. Why couldn't anything go as planned?

The practically courupt ninja directed his flame at the hands of time disappointed when the fire was then slowed down in time allowing the twins to get out the way and glare at him. "Well I'm sure this isn't the reunion you'd expected."

Their glance fell to Nya, then the shooken parents and then finally the enraged Kai who now was confused.

"You ARENT with the hands of time?"
