Lauren's POV
**August 30th **
For the second time , i stood waiting outside of these stupid double doors . This was it , after i leave this place i am never thinking about the Vincenzo's or the FBI again.
This thing has taken up too much of my time and energy and i could see Axel was loosing his mind at the fact that some one challenged his empire .
"Queen Lauren , they're asking for you" One of the guards stands in front of me nervously
i stand up and softly walk in. Since this is was formal trial, Alessia insisted that i wear a dress and a crown. I just couldn't wait to wear sweatpants again .
As i walk in , i noticed all the same people as before except Jeffery's mother was in the front row staring at me with angry fat tears streaming down her face .
A malnourished looking young man sat with shackles next to the council and i stared into his lifeless eyes . He looked broken , staring in to space with black and blue bruises covering his body . Jeffery. After Axel found out about his involvement, he's been tortured in a prison ever since .
Judges Hemus , Howard and Violet sat comfortably as i walked to the podium and they nod at me before speaking.
"Good after noon all, Please be reminded that the contents of this investigation are confidential and may not be spoken to anyone outside of this room"
good , i don't wanna think about this shit anymore any way .
"Queen Lauren, Today you will be speaking your testimony of Jeffery Vincenzo , Do you swear to tell the truth to the best of your knowledge?" Judge Hemus asks in the center of the table

"Yes" i spoke clearly and confidently.
Alessia made me take basically Queen 101 classes so i was familiar with how to speak
"Great!- How did you come to know about the mafia , please repeat your prior answers for this trail" he leans forward and folded his hands
"i was contacted by a Former FBI agent" i said
"name this person"
"He said his name was Daniel . That's all i know about his legal identity" i spoke monotoned. i knew how to handle him.
"And what did Agent Daniel say to you when you met him" Judge Violet asks
"He asked me to help him testify against the mafia - to which i declined because i had no knowledge of this . He then gave me documents supporting the validity of it"i replied
"Was that the only time you've seen Agent Daniel ?"
"No he came to my job weeks later, threatening me and i refused again and left" i was so annoyed at these questions . I have babies to attend to and a husband to cuddle with .
"Queen Lauren, it is our understanding that you suggested to help Spider by pretending to be a hostage in a cell with Daniel after he was apprehended."
the room gasps and i knew they didn't know the details of my involvement yet
"That is correct" i answer curtly . If they wanted to pry the truth out of my body then fine , i'll show them ....
maybe i do have authority problems
"Can you describe your role in that event" Judge Howard writes something down and pushes up his glasses .
"I suggested that i pretend that Spider kept me hostage after he found out that i knew about the Mafia . My story was that i was locked in the basement after numerous times of attempted escape. The goal was to gain trust of the subject and find out any useful information." i kept my answers cold and emotionless . I made direct eye contact and didn't look anywhere else , not even at Axel
