Changbin tried extra hard to try to find the bright haired male he had seen a few days prior, but to his dismay, he was having no luck with it.
He looked everywhere. In the hallways, and even in some classrooms, which only ended up with Changbin almost being late to some of his classes. Cutting it close by a matter of seconds.
Changbin could have sworn that he looked in all of the hallways and at everyone, but by the end of that day (the third day of looking that week), Changbin felt about ready to give up, why didn't he just approach the male when he first saw him?
He walked into school the next day, no intention of going out of his way (making himself nearly late to class) in search of the light haired male. He figured he'd leave it up to what he'd say was "fate."
"Hey, buddy!" Jake called out to the older haired male.
"Ah, hey," Changbin replied.
"Today, after school, because I set a reminder on my phone to do so, I'll officially show you the guy I've been raving about," Jake beamed.
"I'm proud of you for remembering," Changbin chuckled.
"Good, you should be proud of me," Jake chuckled, "but hey, any news on that light haired boy you've been on a hunt for?"
"No," Changbin sighed, "I looked for three days and couldn't find him anywhere."
The Australian frowned, "I'm sorry man."
"It's fine, I'm sure I'll run into him again at some point," Changbin replied, "I have hope."
"Hope is good," Jake smiled.
As they walked to their classes, they talked about small things here and there just to occupy the time before Changbin entered his class, Jake continuing forward to his own.
Changbin entered his history class a bit nervously, he didn't know anyone in there and took the first free seat he could find. There was one other open seat beside him, but it was quickly occupied by a light haired male, "I made it okay good."
Changbin chuckled, "did you just run a marathon?"
The light haired male was panting and his hair looked like he had ran to the classroom, which he did, "maybe. I just came from the dance department I had needed to talk to the teacher."
"Oh, are you in dance? I might need to find my way there tomorrow," Changbin chuckled.
"Oh, yeah I could show you tomorrow, I'm Minho," the light hared male said.
"Changbin," the other replied.
"I'll meet you outside of the main entrance at eight forty five? Class starts at nine," Minho suggested.
"Yeah, that'd be really nice," Changbin smiled.
Throughout his history class, Changbin made small talk with Minho, getting to know him. He learned that Minho was older than him, and had been in dance since he was five. He shared with the older about his move from Yongin and how he really only knew one person who was on the soccer team and Australian that he met in the hallway on his first day the week prior.
"Oh, you mean Felix?" Minho asked, "he's super cool."
"Oh no, I don't know a Felix, I meant Jake," Changbin replied.
"Oh, I don't think I know him, he must be one of the new additions then," Minho shrugged.
Changbin nodded, "yeah, we've been exploring the college experience here together."
Minho laughed, "that's nice, though I should introduce you to some of the guys I'm friends with, you seem like you'd fit in with our group."
"Sure, yeah," Changbin nodded.
