"Woah," Jake said, Changbin rolled his eyes as the younger continued, "shocker."
"Yeah you're totally surprised," The older sighed.
"Well you've been pining after him since you first saw him, what, six months ago?" Jake asked.
"It hasn't been six months yet," Changbin defended himself.
"Oh my bad," Jake chuckled before they both fell silent.
Changbin had asked the younger to meet before soccer practice, hoping for some advice to help him. Though it didn't appear that Jake actually had any advice for him, "don't you have a crush on Sunghoon?"
"I think so yeah," Jake replied, "okay I have a very odd idea. It's kind of crazy, but possibly so crazy it might work."
"What is it?" Changbin asked.
Jake wasn't lying when he said it was a crazy idea. He really wasn't, and Changbin wasn't sure what made him agree to the idea. Maybe it was just cause he hadn't really in depth thought about the possible outcome of the idea Jake had proposed, a whole lot before. Maybe Changbin had thought of it when Felix had traced his lips with his thumb, but that was pretty much the extent of it, really.
He had been distracted by the presence of color making itself known to the raven haired males eyes, to really focus on anything else over that week. Been so distracted that he lost track of what day it was, he was under the impression that it was Wednesday, so when Jeongin had asked him if he was going to the soccer game, when Changbin knows that there are only soccer games on Tuesdays and Thursdays, it threw him for a loop. And his response was a very confused, "yeah, I am."
"Cool," Seungmin replied, "the three of us really want you there."
"Really?" Changbin asked.
Seungmin chuckled although a bit confused, "yeah."
Changbin hummed in response before he pulled out the Polaroid from his locker, that he had decided to keep with him. The photo was of all eight of them, at the diner during one of their first meetups as a group of eight. And Minho had asked their waitress to take a photo of them all. It was a moment that Changbin wanted to remember so he had asked the waitress to take one more after she had taken the one for Minho.
And in that moment, staring at the photo, he smiled as he noticed the way the colors were a bit brighter. The yellow starting to show ever so slightly. And all Changbin could think was, Felix's color. It made him smile. Seungmin looked at him and smiling and held back a laugh as he looked at Jisung who had noticed Changbin and was also holding back a laugh. And looking at each other, caused Seungmin and Jisung to struggle to hold back their laughs even more. So much so, that Changbin asked, "are y'all good?" And the question alone caused Seungmin and Jisung to actually loose it. Changbin gave them both a crazy look, but didn't say anything about it, he didn't care too much.

After classes ended for the day, Changbin sat in his dorm for an hour, anxiously waiting for time to pass before it was finally time for the game. He jumped up and practically ran out the door, rushing to the field. And stared in awe for a moment, he didn't imagine the score board to be a reddish color. And he liked the color of the grass. As soon as Jake spotted Changbin, the other spotted him, and the younger nodded as he turned towards his team and called out, "Hey Lix."
"Yeah?" The other Australian asked.
Jake pointed behind himself, "someone's looking for you."
"Oh," Felix nodded and walked over, having to take a deep breath before officially walking to Changbin.
