Over the six months that Jake knew Sunghoon, he barely spent any time away from the younger male. He had befriended not only Sunghoon, but his friends as well. So he saw Sunghoon on a daily basis between lunch periods, soccer, and sometimes they would all hang out as a group on the weekends. And while Jake was friends with the entire group, there was just something about Sunghoon that the Australian resonated with. Jake wasn't sure if it was because they had originally bonded over soccer, or if it was because of something else. But either way, Jake knew there was something about Sunghoon specifically.
And sure, ever since Jake had seen Sunghoon, he had found the younger cute, but it was different. Six months later, it was just different. Of course Jake had managed to catch feelings for the younger. Hell, they had even kissed. And he had noticed his feelings nearly three months prior. He was already a goner for the other male. Jake hadn't told anyone besides Changbin, and he felt he needed to tell someone else. That was why he had decided to message Jay, inviting him over, which meant Jungwon was also going to be tagging along, but he didn't really mind. Though when he saw Heeseung with the other two, he was thrown for a loop.
"Hey," Jungwon smiled.
"Hey guys, come in," Jake said, stepping aside to let the trio inside.
"What's going on?" Jay asked.
"Yeah, is everything okay?" Heeseung asked.
Jake nodded and stayed standing while the others sat on his bed, "yeah, I'm okay I just wanted to tell you guys something."
"Tea?" Jungwon asked.
Jake chuckled, "kind of?"
"Okay, what's up?" Heeseung questioned.
Jake started pacing, "so I've known you guys for a while now, right?"
"Right," Jay nodded, and shifted to be a bit more comfortable.
"And I hang out with you guys everyday," Jake said, "and I hang out with Sunghoon a lot too."
"Ah," Jungwon smiled, Heeseung also hummed.
"What?" Jake asked, stopping from pacing.
"Nothing," Heeseung shook his head, smiling softly.
Jay chuckled, "Jake continue."
"Sunghoon was one of the very first people I met here," The Australian stated, "And I hang out with him not just during our hangouts, or during lunch, but obviously during soccer too. And we walk back to the dorms together sometimes too. I spend a lot of time with him.
"What are you trying to tell us, Jake?" Jay asked, tilting his head to the right and smiling as if he already knew what Jake was trying to say.
"I just.." the foreigner resumed pacing, "you guys already know what I'm saying. I've known you for a while and found him cute ever since day one. And we have things in common, he's funny, and he laughs when I try to be funny and fail. And he's easy to talk to, and he's soft spoken, but he's passionate when it comes to soccer and that shows and ugh! I like him, okay? A lot. And only Changbin knew until this very moment."
Jungwon hummed as Jay said, "I see."
"Finally," Heeseung nodded, "it's about time."
"Huh?" Jake asked, furrowing his eyebrows and tilting his head to the right, "what do you mean?"
"Well," Jungwon said, "We kinda...knew."
"Huh?" Jake asked, still confused.
"You're kidding, you're surprised we knew?" Heeseung asked.
