Anakin was training with some of the other Jedi younglings. He had already gotten his lightsaber. He was only 9 years old and he was already at the top of his class. To be honest, nobody, not even Jedi Grand Master Yoda even has a clue. Anakin Skywalker was the most powerful youngling in the whole Jedi Order. The other masters were watching him closely.
"So this is what you meant." said Master Windu, "Top youngling in your class."
"Strange, it is." said Master Yoda, "Like this, no youngling ever was."
"How could such a youngling at this age contain such power?" asked Master Shaak Ti.
"Who knows, Shaak Ti." replied Ki-Adi-Mundi.
Soon, training was over, and Anakin, as usual, defeated his opponent, again. He helped his friend up. They were best friends. Some younglings teased Anakin because of how good he was. But Anakin, being trained under the watchful eye of Master Yoda along with several other younglings, was better than that.
"Anakin Skywalker." Master Windu called, "Come over here."
Anakin walked over and his eyes widened, all of the Council Members were there. Were you all watching me?! He thought. He almost felt embarrassed.
"Y-you came to me, Master Windu?" he said.
"We've been watching some of your matches, young Skywalker." said Master Windu.
"Your power is greater than any youngling we've ever seen." said Shaak Ti.
The Jedi masters told Anakin that they were going to take a blood test with a milichordian count. An hour later, Anakin was called to the council chambers of the Jedi Temple. He found himself surrounded by all of the masters. Masters Yoda and Windu showed the results of the milichordian count of Anakin's blood test. Everyone was shocked at the results.
"What is it, masters?" Anakin finally asked.
"We have seen the results of your milichordian count." said Master Windu.
"Above 20,000." said Master Yoda, "Such a high count, none have. Even I have no such count."
"We have reason to believe in something that we have been told about a long time ago..." said Master Kit Fisto.
"A prophecy that was foretold." said Master Ki-Adi-Mundi.
"A Chosen One," said Master Shaak Ti, "who was destined to bring balance to force."
"We have more than enough reason to believe that you are the Chosen One." said Master Plo Koon.
The Next Day...
Anakin could hardly sleep all night. He was just told that he was the chosen one, the one who'd bring balance to the force. It was completely unbelievable. Suddenly though, Anakin sensed a disturbance in the force, as if there were people calling for help on a distant planet. He suddenly went to Master Yoda in the middle of the night. He explained what happened. Master Yoda then got a ship and they traveled into space.
Later, on Tatooine...
Anakin and Yoda got out and saw the twin suns in the sky. Anakin then spotted a ship. It looked like it came from the small planet of Naboo. Anakin felt the presence and the two Jedi found themselves outside of a small hut. Anakin knocked, and a woman opened the door.
"Oh, hi there." she said, "Best you come in since there's a storm here."
They headed inside and found a small group of people.
"Hello." said Master Yoda.
"I am Qui-Gon Jinn." said a man, "This is Padme, R2-D2, and Jar Jar."
"Anakin Skywalker," replied Anakin, "and this is Master Yoda."
