The Legend of Anakin Skywalker: A Star Wars Story

Chapter 5: Geonosis

Anakin and Padme raced to their ship.  There, they discovered that Qui-Gon had called Obi-Wan to aid him in his mission.  Apparently, the bounty hunter who killed Padme's would-be assasinator, was hired to create a clone army, and his name was Jango Fett.  But their message was inturpted once they were attacked by a few Destroyers.

 "We've got to go Geonosis." said Padme.

"I agree." said Anakin, "We must help them."

Meanwhile, on Geonosis...

Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon were being held up above the ground.  Suddenly, a man with gray hair came into the room.

"Let them down." he said.

Qui-Gona and Obi-Wan fell onto the floor.  Qui-Gon got up.  He recognized the man.  It was Count Dooku, a former Jedi, and his former master.

"Count Dooku," he said, "what's the meaning of this?"

Count Dooku explained that the senate was under the control of a Sith Lord named Darth Sidious.  Obi-Wan was very stubborn and didn't believe a single word Count Dooku said.

"Very well, Master Kenobi." he said, he looked to the droids, "Put him back."

Obi-Wan suddenly found himself once again in the grip of the cell.

"What say you, my former apprentice?" asked Count Dooku.

"Allow me to meditate on this." said Qui-Gon, looking in concern for his former padawan.

"Certaintly, Master Jinn."

Meanwhile, with Anakin and Padme...

Anakin and Padme were struggling to fight their way to get to their friends.  Anakin heard jetboots.  He turned to see Jango Fett aim his blaster at Padme's head.  

"Surrender Jedi." he said as he shoved the blaster at the side of Padme's head.

"You hurt her," said Anakin as he placed his dual lightsabers on the floor, "I'll beak the Jedi Code just once."

Padme and Anakin found themselves in a chariot about to be taken out into the arena.  Padme turned to Anakin.

"Ani," she said, "I've been dying a little everyday.  And I finally figured what it was."

Anakin looked at her, as if he was listening.

"It's because...I love you." she said, "And...I think that...our love was meant to be."

Anakin puts up a sad smile.  They leaned and kissed each other as they were taken in the arena, there, they spotted Obi-Wan, chained to the pillar.

"I was wondering if you got our message." replied Obi-Wan.

"We did, Obi-Wan." said Anakin as he and Padme are being chained to their pillars, "And we decided to come and rescue you."

Obi-Wan looked up to see the chains connected to his hands.  He looked back down at Anakin.

"Good job." he said and looked ahead to disappointment.

Soon, they saw Qui-Gon from afar, he stepped out of a cave.  He became shocked at what he was seeing.

"Master!" Anakin and Obi-Wan shouted.

Qui-Gon then shouted at Count Dooku, saying that he had gone far enough.  Count Dooku asked if Qui-Gon had made his decision.  Qui-Gon answered with a "I believe I have".  And soon, he too, was chained to a pillar.

"You alright, master?" asked Anakin.

"I am, Anakin." replied Qui-Gon.
