Anakin has just come from the Jedi temple after telling the Jedi where General Grievous was located. The Chancellor wanted him to lead the campaign, but even he knew, with these nightmares getting worse and worse, and finding ways to save his wife, it wouldn't be smart. Obi-Wan was chosen to go there, and Anakin was happy for him. He had arrived at Palpatine's office because he summoned him.
"You wanted to see me?" he asked.
"I'm surprised that the Jedi haven't given you Master Kenobi's assignment." replied the Chancellor, "Any idea why?"
Anakin didn't know how to respond, only the Jedi Council, Obi-Wan, Satine, and very few others knew about his marriage and Padme's pregnancy. It would only be revealed if he and Padme wanted to reveal it.
"I wish I knew." he said calmly.
"Really?" asked the Chancellor, "Hmm...there are always things of the force they never tell you, Anakin Skywalker."
"You know the force?"
"My mentor taught me. Even the nature of the darkside."
Anakin walked a few steps ahead of the Chancellor and turned to face him.
"You know the darkside?" he asked, looking suspicious.
"Anakin," said Palpatine, "the only way to truly know something is to understand BOTH sides of them. With it, you can save your wife...from a certained death."
Anakin's eyes darkened a little bit.
"What did you say?" he asked, feeling angered.
"Use my knowledge, I beg you." said Palpatine.
Anakin's eyes widened. He took out both of his lightsabers.
"YOU'RE the Sith Lord." he said, pointing one of her blades at Paplatine.
"Yes," replied the Chancellor with the sense of a calm voice, "I am Darth Sidious. I am the reason Qui-Gon, your own father, is dead."
Anakin felt tempted to cut the Sith Lord into a thousand pieces.
"Are you going to kill me?" asked the Chancellor.
"I would most certainly like too." Anakin replied.
"I know. I can feel your anger. Gives you focus, makes you stronger."
Anakin felt tempted to cut the secret sith in half, but he had to do this carefully. He extinguished his lightsabers.
"I'm turning you into the Jedi Council." he said.
"Don't continue to be a pawn, Anakin." replied Palpatine.
"I'm done being your pawn."
Later at the Jedi Temple...
Anakin ran just in time to see Windu talking to a holographic version of Obi-Wan.
"Obi-Wan!" he called out, "Master Windu!"
The two Jedi turned to Anakin. They told him that General Grievous was destroyed. But that was nothing close to what Anakin wanted to hear or tell.
"What is it, young Skywalker?" asked Windu and Obi-Wan.
"I just learned a terrible truth." Anakin panted, "Palpatine is a Sith Lord!"
Both men's eyes widened.
"He told me." Anakin continued, "He was trained in the darkside, he knows the way of the force."
"I'm on my way." said Obi-Wan.
And the hologram disappeared. Windu then told Anakin to wait in the Council Chambers and not come to the Chancellor's office. Anakin told him to execute ord order 65 before trying anything (An order if the Chancellor was unfit to remain in office, they'll be placed under arrest). Anakin didn't want Darth Sidious to kill Master Windu, despite how much he didn't like him. He arrived just outside the office, he then sees the same that Obi-Wan arrived as well.
"Anakin, stay away." he said.
"I must help." said Anakin.
Obi-Wan knew that Anakin was only going to get himself killed, but no matter what, he'll still be stubborn.
"We do this together then." he said.
"My thoughts exactly, brother." replied Anakin with a smile.
They entered to see Master Windu stunned with lightning. The two Jedi readied their weapons. They began to fight with Darth Sidious. The Sith Lord eventually pushed Anakin into a wall.
"You cannot stop me." he said, then beginning to force choke Obi-Wan, "At least, not on your own."
He then suddenly felt a blue and green blade pierce his body. He let go of Obi-Wan, turning to see Anakin, doing his best to stand up properly.
"How can you save those you love without me?" he asked as he died.
"I don't know." said Anakin, "But I hope they never involve you."
Suddenly, Anakin heard somehting on on his comlink, it sounded like Padme, saying that she felt a great pain in her stomach. Master Windu got up and so did Obi-Wan. The two Jedi ran to their comrade.
"Anakin!" said Obi-Wan, "What's wrong?!"
"Th-the...the baby's going to come soon!" Anakin said.
