Two things: Please read the warning down below. I will also be putting a comment at the end to help determine the name of Bucky and Mirjana's baby!

There is a comment that some could turn into a political argument. I want to nip it in the bud now. I will have none of that in this story. My friend was with me when I was typing this chapter and pointed it out, so I figured I'd stop it now before anyone even tries pulling any of that shit. Also, a difficult conversation takes place between Tony and Bucky. Not the easiest chapter, as a rollercoaster of emotions plays out. Thank you! <3 Artie

-------------------------------------------

Ayo had learned by now to slow her pace in the evenings when leading them from place to place. Mirjana's lower back and hips hurt and she was constantly tired. Both she and Bucky were mentally exhausted from being in the lab all day and dealing with his appalling memories. Despite all that, she was still too stubborn to allow Bucky to help her walk.

Aka, he wanted to carry her everywhere.

"We can talk when I hit 35 weeks," she hissed, smacking his hand away. He groaned but obeyed her wishes, settling for wrapping his arm around her shoulders. There was a high chance that she'd complain later tonight about her hips hurting from "all the exercise." Voices spilled out of the dining room as they walked in that direction. Everyone else must already be in there, chatting away.

"There you are."

Mirjana screamed and jumped into Bucky's arms. The super soldier sucked in his lips to stop his laugh from escaping. Tony's shocked face was too funny to not laugh at. Ayo had barely flinched in front of them, only sparing a glance over her shoulder. Jana smacked Bucky's metal shoulder.

"Did you know he was there?!"

His blue eyes sparkled with amusement, those laugh lines she loved so much even more pronounced with his smile. "I knew someone was there."

"I almost peed myself," she whispered, leaning close to his face so no one else could hear.

Bucky's head dropped, his shoulders shaking with poorly contained laughter. She smacked his shoulder again. "You're such a... a... what's the English for непристојан?"

The more exhausted she was the harder English came for Mirjana. It was moments like these that reminded him she wasn't a natural English speaker.

"Rude?" Bucky laughed again. "You can't be a rude. You can be a rude person."

"As cute as... whatever... this... is, I do have something to talk to you about, Barnes," Tony said with a wave of his hand.

"Can we talk while we eat?" Mirjana asked.

"Yeah, why not." Tony led the way into the dining room. Other than a few nods hello, no one moved at the sight of the three of them. Though, once Tony sat across from the Barnes, and cleared his throat, Pepper's warning gaze could be felt by everyone.

"I, uh, I wanted to offer an olive branch."

Mirjana's nose wrinkled. "I don't like olives."

Sam and Peter snorted. Tony let out an exasperated sigh. "No, I meant figuratively. I want to allow you into the Avengers compound when you come back to the states. After all your brain stuff is figured out, I mean."

"Oh," Mirjana and Bucky exchanged surprised glances. "Thank you, I guess."

"It'll make things easier for Senator Ross and all the other big-wigs to forgive you. You'll be able to get your wife citizenship-"

"You make it sound as if we are moving permanently to the states," Mirjana interjected. Bucky had plated food for her, but she had lost her appetite at the thought of never going back to Bucharest. The rest of the table fell silent, unabashedly listening in on the conversation.
