Hope you're all doing well! <3 Artie

Izak and Miller were the first to enter the room, trailed by a dozen other Hydra agents. Malo relaxed at the sight of the friendly pair, but a familiar head in the back of the group caused her to tense up once more.
"Welcome back, soldat! Ready for your mission brief?" Izak greeted. Zaštitnik grunted.
"I'll stay behind and, uh, make sure the kleine doesn't get lonely," the familiar voice said. Most of the men had already left the room, but Zaštitnik remained glued to the floor.
"No, Agent Huber. You know we are all to follow the asset to the briefing room, just in case he acts out," Izak frowned.
Agent Huber stepped towards Malo, twirling a piece of loose hair in his fingers. "I think we all know how much this one likes to act out."
A metal arm reached out, grasping the agent by the throat. Zaštitnik threw the guard into a nearby wall, knocking him out instantly. Despite her instinct to leave him be, Malo stepped forward to check if Agent Huber was still alive. Zaštitnik intercepted her, tossing her easily over his shoulder. Izak made to protest, but Miller cut him off with a smack to the chest. They knew better than anyone to not take toys away from the Winter Soldier.
They entered the briefing room, Malo still draped over the shoulder of the soldier. He gently placed her on her feet, but kept an arm wrapped around her waist. Even if she wanted to, Malo was pressed tight to his side.
Herr Fischer – the one who does most of the mission briefings these days – smirked. "Good to see you here, kleine. I hope the asset doesn't think you'll be joining him on this mission?"
"Wasn't that the whole purpose of me being here? To assist him on missions?" she asked before she could stop herself. A gasp came from the men surrounding them. She gulped, knowing what the typical price was for speaking out of turn.
"It was. But seeing as the doktor is gone, you are her replacement. We cannot afford to lose you for a week. What would happen if we needed medical attention here?" he stalked closer to the pair, stopping when a rough grunt came from the super soldier. "But I understand the asset does not like to share. I will allow it this time. Do not expect me to be so generous in the future."
"But, Herr, what will we do without a doctor for a week?" a random agent asked from the crowd.
He smirked. "Try not to die."
Malo stood under the protection of her soldier as they began to explain mission details. It probably would have been better if she paid attention, but all she could focus on was the large hand resting on her stomach. His thumb gently traced circles, sending fire throughout Malo's body. She struggled keeping her breathing even to not give away how she was reacting to his touch.
When it felt as though she couldn't hold it in any longer, the briefing wrapped up. This time, Zaštitnik held tightly to her hand as they walked back to her room.
"Hold on. We aren't going to the jet? I thought we would leave right away?" she asked, confused.
"I think you were a little distracted," Miller teased. "We are allowing the asset to rest. This is a long one, and he's been out of commission for a while. This is HYDRA being merciful."
"Couldn't we rest on the jet?"
"Are you so desperate to leave?" Izak asked. Malo shrugged, playing with the hem of her shirt.
"I-no. Of course not. I was curious as to why I had to have him change if we weren't going to leave tonight."
"Shouldn't he deserve a nice change of clothes after waking up? Enjoy the night. We'll leave you two lovebirds to it."
