As we wrap things up, there are going to be a bunch of time-skips. I could write about every single day to day experience of this group, but don't want to get too close to another popular Bucky fic. To mitigate that but still include some 'snapshots' of their lives together, I've compromised with myself with this decision. I don't want to call the next however many chapters I write epilogues, since there will be a few, but they kind of will be.

This is the longest chapter I've written yet and I've included some spice at the end. It's wedding time, which means... wedding night. <3 Artie

Two months later...

"Has Natasha arrived, yet?"

"Calm your ass down, Pepper. She will be here any minute," Yelena snapped.

The two had been at each other's throats all morning. Pepper was rushing around, making sure everything for Mirjana and Bucky's wedding was perfect. In her opinion, two months wasn't enough time to finish the details on a 'proper' wedding. Yelena was sick of being ordered around the past few weeks. Although Pepper seemed to have everything settled early on, an incident with the caterer attempting to scam her made her triple check everything. EVERY. THING.

While others had grumbled their frustrations, Yelena had been the most vocal.

"If you had taken the last mission you would have been able to get away," Wanda reminded the blonde.

Yelena glared at her best friend. "Last week was Mira's two month birthday. I could not leave her to celebrate alone!"

"You're weirdly obsessed with that baby," Kate said, eyeing her friend from across the room. Wanda pulled Kate's hair to get her to turn back around, lest she burn her with the curling iron.

"She is a cute baby. And my goddaughter," Yelena shrugged. She handed Pepper the tiara that would finish off Mirjana's look. Pepper stepped back, beaming at a mostly-ready bride.

"You look gorgeous," she complimented.

Mirjana blushed, her hands immediately going to the small belly she still had from giving birth. Yelena slapped her hands away.

"You are beautiful. Stop it. I would be proud to marry you if I was Barnes."

"No need to be so aggressive," Mirjana muttered. The compliment lifted her spirits enough for her to turn in the mirror, admiring her hair and make-up. She delicately touched the sparkling tiara that adorned her intricate curls. Tony had tasked as many medical professionals – namely optometrists – as possible to at least temporarily help Mirjana's eyesight. They provided her with a pair of glasses and one set of contacts that did improve her vision enough that she could easily make out a few feet in front of her.

Not looking away from the tiara, she turned to the woman that had been like a fairy godmother ever (or at least a mother figure) ever since having met her. "What was the purpose of this, again?"

Pepper placed her hand on Jana's shoulders, giving them a gentle squeeze. "Tony had googled Serbian marriage traditions. The bride and groom often wear crowns. We doubted Bucky would wear one, but thought it would be nice to have this as a nod to your culture."

Mirjana placed her hand on Pepper's, trying to hold back tears so she didn't ruin her make-up. A loud bang from outside caused everyone in the room to jump.

"What was that?!" Kate screamed.

Wanda and Pepper sighed at the same time. Wanda was the one to answer. "Another tradition, apparently. An apple is placed on the highest tree or hung from the house and the groom has to shoot it before the bride can leave the house."
