Confusion

"I don't want you to spend time with Kevin anymore" he looked at her.

Kyung Mi looked at him with a straight face but then started laughing. "Hahahaha! Oh my Gosh are you serious right now Eli?"

"Yes, I don't want him close to you, you're mine" he glared.

"Eli, first of all, you don't have the right to tell whom i can and cannot spend time with, the fact that your my boyfriend does not mean that I have to do anything you say; If you don't like then we can just..." She was interrupted.

"No!" He exclaimed and held her hands. "I just don't don't want him to steal you away from me. I don't want to lose you" he said softly.

"And what makes you think that he will steal you away from me?"

Eli stayed quiet for a while before answering her.

-flashback-
"Hyo-Rin! Stop it! I've told you a million times that i don't want to be with you!" Eli heard the boy shout. He couldn't help but listen to the conversation.

"But oppa I love you, I can make you happy, I can give you anything you want. I mean I'm everything you need; I'm pretty, I'm smart and I'm rich" she exclaimed.

" SHUT UP" he shouted. "I'm so damn tired of this! I don't want you and I don't care if my mother wants me with you; I don't love you, I love Kyung Mi!"

Eli almost spit out his coffee with what he heard. "What?!" He whispered to himself. He then looked back in a way and looked at the boy and quickly turned around so he wouldn't notice. "Isn't that..." He remembered the day where he first saw Kyung Mi in her favorite coffee shop where she was talking to the boy which he realized was the same boy that said those words he had just heard.

"No reason Kyung Mi, I just don't want you close to that guy" he said.

"No reason? Okay then, I also have no reason to stop talking to him" she stood, grabbed her stuff and started walking but Eli had grabbed her arm to stop her.

"Kyung Mi! I'm your boyfriend, why are you still being so cold to me? Haven't I proved to you that I'm not the same guy as I used to be?" He exclaimed.

"Eli let me go, I'll talk to you later" she tried getting out of his hands but he tighten his grip.

"Answer me Cho Kyung Mi!" He shouted not caring about the people that were staring at him.

"Kim Kyoung Jae!!" She shouted back.
Eli noticed that she was mad since it was the first time she had called him by his full Korean name, so he let out a sigh and took her making his way to the car with her. He then drove to the park so he could speak more privately with her and so she could take a breath of fresh air which helped her calm down. Eli knew she liked being in the park when she was mad or stressed which was another reason he had chosen that place.

"Why did you bring me here?" She asked with a more soft and calmed voice.

"Umm when I did that to you...you seemed to have trusted me a bit, I don't know if you remember, but you had a problem with one of the teachers in our school, so I looked for you and I found you here and that was when you explained what happened and told me that you liked sitting on the swings and just get rid of your anger here" Eli explained.

Kyung Mi looked at him surprised at what he said. "Y...You were looking f...for me?" She stuttered.

"Yeah, I was kind of worried about you..."

"Why? I mean why were you worried? I wasn't important to you, I was just somebody you used" she kept looking at him.

Eli stayed quiet looking straight to the floor. Kyung Mi felt her heart beat fast as she waited for an answer.
She started to think that Eli actually cared about her at least little bit during the time they were a "couple". Well... It doesn't make sense why she would think that but she did.

"Because I needed you at that moment, to make her jealous again" he said.
With that said, she stood up and slapped him.
Eli was surprised, very surprised, he placed his hand on his now red cheek and looked up to her. She had watery eyes and a few tears fell down her cheeks and she was very angry.

"No, you have not proved to me that you've changed. You're still the same, you want to know why? You're still the same Eli I met, a big flirt, when you walk in a room I notice when you look at girls. Another thing that has never changed is the way you talk to me, it's the same way you talk to any other girl you've played with. Calling me "cutie", "baby", it's the same Eli. The only time you treat me differently is when you need to. That's not gonna work." She took a deep breath and cleaned her tears away.

"I...I know" he stuttered. "But I really am trying to be a better person, to be a better boyfriend for you. I won't give up on you" he said with a soft and calmed voice.

"I don't know Eli, I don't think this is gonna wor...." Her eyes widened as she felt his soft lips on top of hers.
Eli held her closely and caressed her face gently as he separated from the kiss looking straight into her eyes. "I won't let you go Kyung Mi, not again.

Kyung Mi's heart was beating fast which made it hard for her to speak. "T...t...take me home now...."

Eli felt a bit disappointed at her reaction but agreed and drove her home. The ride was silent, neither of them bothered to break the silence. They finally reached her home and Eli opened the door for her and helped her out of the car.
Kyung Mi was about to walk inside but Eli grabbed her arm.

"Please, give me one last chance, that's all I ask for...Please..." He begged.

"Fine, I'll think about it, I'll see you another day Eli" she answered and quickly went inside her home making her way to her room forgetting to greet Jun and Kevin who looked at her with a concerned look.

Kyung Mi let herself fall in the bed and looked at the ceiling placing her hand on the chest feeling her fast beating heart. She remembered feeling Eli's lips on hers and blushed just by the thought of it. She felt confused.

"No...I can't.... I won't"
