Romantic Date with Eli

Hey guys! I hope this will compensate for the short and bad chapter from before. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this chapter, and the music I chose for it. I think it really goes with the mood.

*A week Later*

"Babe please it's just a party, I need you to be my date" Eli whined. 

"Eli, you know I don't like parties, they give me a headache" I whined back.

It was our "anniversary" according to Eli, apparently to him, it's been like 6 years since we've known each other.

I honestly think this is just an excuse to take me to this party which had to do with his work. Eli and his dad owned lots of hotels and any other places they wanted. So he was pretty rich, they recently closed a deal on a very famous hotel called "Amour Hotel".

"Babe, please it will only be a few hours, I promise. After the party finishes I'll take you out to eat"

I groaned. "Fine, how do I have to go?"

"Formal, don't get too pretty, I don't want boys looking at you." He chuckled.

"No promises"

"Okay, I'll pick you up in 1 hour then, thank you baby" he kisses my head. "See you later." He left.

Once he left I groaned and dragged myself into my room, I walked to my closet and started searching for a formal dress to wear.

I haven't been out for a while, especially to somewhere so fancy, so I decided to go all out tonight just to feel pretty and good about myself.

I had finally found a few  dresses that looked decent for this type of party, I proceeded to try them on. First I tried a dark blue short dress, which I loved but I wanted to look more sophisticated.

After that I tried a baby pink short dress but cringed at how girly I looked so I quickly took it off.
I tried on my third dress, which was a light blue with diamonds and sparkles around it. I smiled looking at myself in the mirror knowing that this was the perfect dress to wear.
I took off the dress and took a quick shower, after that I started getting ready, brushing my teeth again, I gave my brown hair a few loose waves and put on my makeup, it was a brown and gold smokey eye along with a cat eye, I kept my lips simple since I wanted the focus to be on my eyes.

I put on my dress along with the diamond heels. I took one last look at myself in the mirror and smiled.

Even if I knew that this party would be boring, I wanted to dress up, I never get to go out to fancy places, so I wanted to go all out every chance that I had.
A few minutes later I heard Eli's car pull over. I carefully walked downstairs and heard him knock on my door and I went to open it.

"Wow..." He exhaled. "Y... Wow babe you look beautiful" he smiled. I blushed.

"Uhm, thank you. You look handsome" I smiled at him.

"Thank you" he chuckled. "Shall we get going?" He placed  his hand in front of me, and I grabbed it.

Once we got in the car he started driving to the party.
The drive was silent for a bit, which made it a bit awkward for me. So I decided to break the silence.
