a day with you

Y/N’s POV

"Hi dad, hi mom. You called me?" I asked as soon as I got in the room. Mom is currently eating and feeding by dad, hope all.

"Oh, yeah." Mom said as she drank a glass of water. "Ishiro, tell her."

"Huh? Why me?! We agreed that you're going to tell her."

"Yeah we did, but I didn't agree and you just straight said that I'm going to say it to her even though I didn't agreed to this, in the first place." Mom said, they continued to argue while I'm here, standing and confused as hell what are they talking about.

"Uhm.. hello? I'm here?" I said as they averted their attention to me, as dad gulped a visible lump in his throat.

"So.. me, your mom and your Sayura, talked about that your mom should and immediately be treated in the States. We still haven't said yes yet because we want your opinion too, as our daughter." Dad said as mom smiled at me. I looked at her and good to know that her energy are now, slowly, back.

But before it, I suddenly thought of Rindou, my friends here and the company. How will dad gonna handle the empire? The estate? The clothing brands and others?

"If you're thinking about the company, darling, don't overthink it. Your Aunt Sayura will be here for two years, and she offered that she's going to handle our business here. She also wants us to take a rest from everything first, and have a bond for the three of us while I'll try my best to keep myself well functioning." Mom affirmed as she smiled at me with those beautiful eyes, gleaming with hope.

"I'm going to think about it first, I'm still hesitant though." I said as dad wore an unbelievable expression.

"And why are you hesitant?" Dad asked.

"Probably because of his boyfriend, Rindou─"

"Mom!" I exclaimed as she just laughed at me.

"A boyfriend? Rindou? From the Rascals? When? How? What?!" Dad exclaimed, confused.

"Oh, yes. Her boyfriend, she just newly said yes to him. And also yes, Rindou Haitani from the Rascals." Mom said as she drank her glass of orange juice.

"Is that so? Is that why you're wearing a necklace with his initials?" Dad said, his voice sounded so strict. "How?" Dad asked again.

"Oh, it's a long story. Too long that it is kind of difficult to summarize it." I answered as I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"(Y/N) Sato, be careful in relationships, okay? I'm not holding you to love someone, but I'm saying that be careful. You already witnessed what happened to me and to your mom before, and we both don't want you to experiment that. Hmm?" Dad said as he kissed my forehead while mom was smiling at us.

"Yes, dad." I said, as we three continued to chit-chat. While talking, my phone suddenly rings, making me halt from chattering to answer the call.

"I'm going this phone call first." I excused as they nodded their heads.

"Hi!" I beamed as I sighed in relief, we didn't had a chance to have time for each other.

[Hello, mon amour. I'm on my way on the studio and I just want to ask if you're in the office.] He asked, the sound of honking cars was definitely hearable, he's probably stuck in a traffic.
