CHAPTER TWENTY FIVE
new life

a few years forward...

"Good Morning, Miss Sato." The employees suddenly stood up and bowed at her as she walked through the hallways of the building.

Her heels where clinking through the cold tile ground. She then entered at a room where the others were waiting for her. And there, she saw a couple who are waiting for her arrival in the front of all the people, at they both smelled and looked expensive by the way they dressed and how their aura surrounded the whole place.

"You're late." The woman said as she was lightly swinging in her swivel chair as the man beside her was reading some files in the white folder. The lady remained standing in her spot, as she smiled and bowed her head, as gesture of respect and then walked towards their direction.

"Pardon my inconvenience, Madame Sato. It was traffic, you know here in Los Angeles." The lady said and also averted her gaze to the man beside her and bowed her head for a gesture of respect.

She then settled her bag in the table and faced the people, with so much confidence and greeted them before she starts to discuss the agenda of their urgent meeting.

Y/N’s POV

"You did a really good job in there." Mom said as she tapped my shoulders as we three got outside of the room with our one only Secretary following us from behind.

"Mrs. Nakamura?"

"Yes, Miss Sato?" She answered as we all stopped in our tracks. I looked at mom and dad as I they both smiled at me.

"Do you remember the house we had in Japan? The second house we had." I asked as she nodded, confusion crept in her face.

"Yes, Miss. What about it?" She asked as I smiled at her. I patted her shoulders as I reminisce the days how Mrs. Nakamura handled the company when we were in trouble. She's been away with her family for almost five years now, and last night, we thought of letting Mrs. Nakamura rest from her job. She already successfully made her two son's finish college and now both professionals working in their desired field.

"You can have it." I said as she suddenly starstruck. "You can have it and retire from being our secretary. You've been servicing us since I was a fetus. I realized how much you did for us and for the empire. You already did so many things and you did those because you're committed to us. And now, you can rest from it." I said as I gave her the keys from the old house as I saw her tears cascade down to her cheeks.

Dad and Mom were watching us both have out time as I smiled at Mrs. Nakamura.

"T-thank you... Miss, Madame and Mister Sato. This is such a big thing you gave to me, and I don't know how to say and what to do to thank you back and show you how much I appreciated and glad to receive this such things." She said and then smiled and then hugged me tightly as I carefully caressed her back, giving her comfort.

"You don't have to, Mrs. Nakamura." I said as she smiled at us. She then said to us that she's going to fly back to Japan tomorrow it's her husband's birthday tomorrow. Dad and Mom agreed as she's now thanking us for what we gave to her, just now.

Years have already passed since the day I left Japan and flew all my way here to Los Angeles. And for the love of God, mom's illness has been finally cured. She's now continuing living the best of her life.
