CHAPTER THIRTY THREE
slowly and unsurely

Y/N’s POV

Three passed by after my talk with Michiko, I suddenly felt the uneasiness in me, flew away from time to time. Knowing that everything that happened before was all planned. Now, in a few weeks, Michiko will fly to Canada with her father to take down who is this enemy hiding in the shadows.

About the double date? It's already finally done, me and Mikey wasn't even acting like a real dates. We were like, following the two love birds enjoy their selves meanwhile me and Mikey are tailing them, taking pictures of them together and watch them look at each other's eyes. Me and Mikey were really hardly cringing that time.

Today's the rain outside was kind of cloudy and windy even though winter's already passed. I was just chilling in my apartment while Emma was picked up by her boyfie, this earlier morning.

"Where are you going?"

"Oh—! Me and Draken are going out again." She giggled as I rolled my eyes.

"When will you get home?"

"I don't know, maybe night? Don't worry, you can reach out to me by calling and texting if you need anything. Oh, by the way, Miyuki's food is now out of stock and also our groceries. Sorry if I can't help you today with those!" She said and later on, a faint knocks was heard in my front door. "He's here!" She squealed as she hopped like a bunny towards the door opening it for her boyfriend.

"Ew." I reacted as the hugged and kissed each other as I walked towards them as I grabbed my slippers. "Stop that."

"LOL! Get your own boyfriend and stop being bitter! Anyway, I'm heading out! Bye-bye!" She said and went out.

And now, here I am getting ready as I watched Miyuki just chilling in the couch. I silently walked out of the door, closing the locks so Miyuki won't be able to open the door. Lately these days, my dog has been always gloomy. We haven't visited a veterinary clinic and I thought of bring her there, to have her monthly check-up.

I then drove off to the supermarket to finish this grocery task of the day. Buying a sack of dog food for Miyuki, good for 1 month since this dog had a such big tummy. I wonder if she has a dragon living in her stomach?

After some few grab and pay, I finally arrived back at the condo. I swiftly put the keys onto the doorknob to unlock the locks as I put back up the bags in my arms. When I went inside, the TV is still on and I noticed that she's been lying chilled in the couch in the same position before I left. I consciously put the paper bags in the kitchen counter as I walked towards the corner in the comfort room to see if Miyuki already peed or pooped. But shockingly, the tile floor is neatly still shine while the whole corners of the restroom is still smelled fresh sakura petals.

I then walked back to my dog who is looking even gloomier than she was in the past days, because of instincts, I then walked closer to her to check if she's breathing. For the love of God, she still is yet her eyes are deeply closed. She noticed my presence near her as she opened her eyes with visible tears, my worries started to pool over me. I grabbed her leash and my keys, thinking of now's the time to check my dog's health.

I arrived at the vet clinic while I carried Miyuki in my arms who's been letting out small mourns in my shoulders as if she's telling that something's agonizing in her. My anxiety arose as I quickly went closer to the front desk to meet a most vacant doctor for them to check my dog's health. And in good timing, there really is, so I didn't had a hard time to wait patiently while my dog's crying.
