CHAPTER THIRTY FOUR
mixed signals

Y/N’s POV

We're now getting ready for the small outing that we and the other party, held. The celebration will be at, of course, in Mikey's newly open resort. But before we could reach this, beautiful place, we need to go through such vehicles to have the time of our lives.

The resort was located at an Island he bought years ago and decided to build a resort in there. It was a long process to be exact, but with the help of our company, he managed to pull of this big project. We have to take a private yacht to reach the destination, and before the yacht, we have to travel one hour in a bus to arrive in the sea port. Tiring? Yes it is. But will it be worth it? We'll find out.

"Is everybody ready?" Mikey asked as we all looked around us, all ready for the bus ride I provided and for the yacht, Mikey is on it. While looking around if everyone is already here, I noticed that some of our business partners had bring their family with them. It was adorable for me to look at, what a happy family. I felt jealousy, anyway.

We then all got inside to our each designated bus. I'm in a bus with my secretary where the other business partners my age are also here, like Mikey, Baji, and the others. And suddenly, Rindou, Ran, Izana, Kakucho, Sanzu appeared from the doors of the bus, wait— what, why and how? I mean, of course Ran and Rindou is fine but those three?

"AYE! (Y/N)'S HERE!" Sanzu suddenly beamed as he headed near me who is about to sit on my spot.

"Oh, you're here?" I asked as he pulled me for a hug then smiled at me.

"Yup! Rindou and Ran invited us, is it fine though?" Kakucho suddenly voiced out as I peeked behind Sanzu's shoulder, revealing a smiling Kakucho.

"Oh, hi! Still the same charming I crossed paths in LA." I smiled as we both chuckled and greeted each other.

"(Y/N)! Our fake manager before! It's been a long time, my dear friend!" Izana pulled himself out, pushing Kakucho and Sanzu out of the way as I chuckled.

"Hi!" I greeted as he hugged me welcome. "I've met Kakucho in LA in the past months, he was with your cat though."

"Oh, yes. I thought you forgot. I think Kakucho already told why I wasn't with him that time." He answered as I nodded.

"Oh yeah, he did though. So, how—"

"Ehem!" A loud sound of someone clearing his throat, I look at Izana's back and it was Ran and he then looked at his side, wiggling his eyebrows then narrowed his gaze to his side which is Rindou. "I think, that's enough chitchat. Let's sit!" He voiced out as he went away, Sanzu, Kakucho and Izana walked away with their heads shaking while the Sanzu giggled which lead me to confusion. I just noticed, that their hairstyles didn't even changed, well their hairs was now shorter though.

Rindou was left standing and I met with his lazy wisteria orbs that caused me to flash a smile for him not to think that I'm being rude if I just walk away. He also smiled back, as I walked a few steps and sat down to next to Emma who is eating chips while watching some movie in her phone, on headset.

I just didn't thought of shaking her off and just sat quietly next to her, I pulled out my phone and thought of maybe watch some ASMR. You know those asmr videos who likes open toys? Toy unboxing? Yeah, those ones. I like those.
