Chapter 1

Miranda's Prov

I was sitting down on my room floor looking out the orphanage windows once again while daydreaming about the day I wake up and Miss.Anne tells me I have been adopted by my forever home but that day will probably never will Happen because I have been here since the day I was born April 12th 2000 that was 15 years ago and Im still in here I am always wondering what's wrong with me why doesn't someone want to adopted I mean im a straight A student who never gets in trouble im also very polite and respectful to people and im very friendly so what's wrong with me I got knocked out of my thoughts by a knock on my bedroom door I hollered for them to come in and they did it turned out to be my two best friends Cadence and Molly

Miranda:"Yes."

Molly:"Miss Anne and the other staff wants you downstairs in the kitchen she says they need to talk to you."

Miranda:"About What, am I in trouble or something?"

Cadence:"No, At least I don't think so if you ask me they seem pretty happy and jumpy."

Miranda:"Really?"

Molly:"Yup, so don't keep them waiting."

Miranda:"Ok tell them I will be down there in a minute."

Cadence&Molly:"KK"

Once Cadence&Molly left the room I got up and headed down stairs to the kitchen were all 8 staff Mr.Jordan, Miss Anne,Miss Brenda, Miss Stephanie ,Mr . Stephen ,miss . Jessica.Miss.Amy and Miss . Lauren and the other 12 orphanage kids Molly, Cadence, Edward, Jacob, K.C Hannah, Austin, Mark, Dylan, Sophia, Leigh~Anne and Becky were sitting in their assigned seats at the table I took my seat between Cadence and Molly and looked at everyone weirdly

Miranda:"Um you wanted to see me."

Miss.Anne:"Yes we would, you know how you been in here since the day you were born."

Miranda:"Yes"

Miss.Anne:"We enjoyed theses 15 years with you but now its time for you to move on from this place."

Miranda:"How am I supposed to do that I have not been adopted and im not 18 years old yet."

Miss.Anne:"Baby doll you may not be 18 yet, but you just got adopted."

When Miss Anne told me that I got adopted I froze in shock everyone at the table congratulated me Cadence&Molly were actually crying and saying we are gonna miss you after 10 minutes of everyone cheering, crying and saying they gonna miss little goofy me Mr . Stephen told everyone to be quite

Miranda:"When do I leave?"

Miss.Anne:"Tomorrow at 10 you and Miss.Amy will travel to Dallas texas to your new Dads house."

Miranda:"Wait that's along ways to go from Morgan Town west Virginia to Dallas Texas."

Miss.Amy:"Yeah we know that's why we leaving really early and the reason why im taking you there myself is because I was the one to bring you here from the hospital the day you were born so everyone thought I should give you to your new dad even though its gonna be emotional for all of us."

By than I had tears in my eyes I had no idea Miss.Amy brought me here from the hospital I gave all the staff a hug and told them "Thank You" by that point I heard Edward scream "Group Hug" and soon enough we were getting crowded by everyone."

10:00 Am the next day

Miss Amy:"You ready to go meet your new dad."

Miranda : " Yes,but will you hold on for a second I think I forgot something in my room:"

Miss.Amy:" yes go ahead and go get it but hurry up please we got to go."

Miranda:"Ok."

I go upstairs to my now old room and looked around in it one last time thinking back to all the memories I had in here waking up on Christmas morning with a stack of presents sitting at the end of my bed waiting to be opened, I also remember all the tea party's Me,Cadence,Molly and a girl name Elizabeth who has already gotten adopted used to have in here im gonna miss this place I got knocked out of my thoughts when I feel a hand on my shoulder I turned around and it was miss.Amy

Miss.Amy:"You ok."

Miranda:"Yes I just can't believe I got adopted finally after 15 years of being here I thought this is the only home I will ever have because I thought something was wrong with me. "

Miss.Amy:"Why would you think that?"

Miranda:"Because no one wanted to adopt me."

Miss.Amy:"its not because they didn't want you its because we felt they were not the right family for you and we wanted you to go to a family that you will fit and it took us a little longer for us to find you one but we did."

Miranda:"Thank you miss Amy for everything you did for me my whole life.

Miss.Amy:"No need to thank me im just glade I got to watch an amazing girl like you grow up and become a young lady that you are today. "

Miss Amy than gave me a hug and told me its time to go I picked up my bag and went down stairs and said my last good~Bye to everyone than I got into miss amy's car and we were off to Dallas Texas to meet my new dad

The next day in Dallas Texas

Miss.Amy:"Miranda wake up we are here."

Miranda:"Huh what oh ok."

I looked out the window and saw a huge mansion outside dang this place is huge anyways we got out of the car and walked up and knocked on the door I was shacking really bad and my hands were sweating when the door opened I got the shock of my life whenever...................
