Chapter 2

Miranda's Prov

Whenever my new dad opened the door I got the shock off my lifetime whenever Shawn Mendes the famous Shawn Mendes opened the door omg im like freaking out inside aaaaaa but I didn't show it because I didn't want him to think im weird or something but seriously I was screaming inside like omg shawn Mendes is my new dad and im also in his house aaaaaaaaa anyways he looked down at me and smiled than he looked over at Miss.Amy which than asked

Miss.Amy:"Shawn Mendes?"

Shawn:"That's me."

Miss.Amy:"Hello im Amy Johnson im the one that is dropping off your daughter. "

Shawn:"so i see,Is this Miranda? "

Miss.Amy:"YUP sure is, Do you mind if I come in and check out your house before I let you take Miranda? "

Shawn:"You sure can."

Shawn's Prov

I was laying on my couch watching SpongeBob waiting for my new daughter to arrive im really excited to meet her because according to the orphanage this little girl has been in that place ever since she came home from the hospital the day she was born 15 years ago the orphanage women said she really wanted to get adopted by her forever family that's why I adopted and plus her story really inspired me anyways about 20 minutes of thinking I heard a knock on my door I jumped up excitedly and ran to the door I than opened it to see a women with blond hair, Brown eyes a big nose and tones of make-up on man she looks like a clown and then there is a little girl that looks like she is 15 years old she has brown hair big brown eyes and a really big smile on her face I looked down at her and smiled than miss Johnson introduced me to Miranda and she asked if she could take a look in my house I gladly let them in I could see Miranda's eyes they looked surprised it is like she had never seen a house this big before

Miss.Amy:"Looks Good can you show me where Miranda will be sleeping please?"

Shawn:"Yeah sure."

The orphanage women, My new daughter and I walked to Miranda's room whenever we got into her room Miranda's eyes light up brighter than a baby in a candy store

Shawn:"Its not much, but here is your room hope you like it."

Miranda:"Its everything I could ever imagine thank you."

Shawn:"No problem."

Miranda's Prov

My new famous father Took me upstairs to show me my new room and oh my god its amazing the whole entire room was pink it had a pink bed a pink dresser, pink curtains and it was beautiful omg I looked up at my new father and said thank you he smiled and said your welcome it was cool anyways Shawn and Miss.Amy were talking for about 10 minutes than it was time for miss Amy to leave it was really emotional for miss Amy and myself

Miss.Amy:"Well Miranda I think it is about time for me to leave don't you think."

Miranda:"No not really."

Miss.Amy:"You will be fine sweetheart I promise I don't think Shawn will be mean to you I think he is gonna be really nice and he will probably inspire you to follow your dreams like he did because I don't know if you know this but this is Shawn Mendes he made it in the music world so I am Pretty Sure he will take you to the red carpet with him on big advance."

Shawn:"That miss Amy is true I get to perform my hit single "Something Big"this week at the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards and I am going to take Miranda with me."

Miranda:"Really! "

Shawn:"Yup."

Miranda : " Thank you."

Shawn:"No problem. "

Miss.Amy:"See you and your new father will have a great time."

Miranda : " I know, but im gonna miss you guys Miss.Amy. "

Miss.Amy:"I know sweetheart, I know."

By that time Miss.Amy and myself were crying and she hugged me

Miss.Amy:"Miranda before I got Cadence&Molly left this in my possession to give this to you they said don't read it until you get ready to go to bed."

Miranda:"Ok."

Miss.Amy:"Now I best be off I gotta alot to do whenever I get back in West Virginia, Miranda you be a good girl for your father Mr .Mendes it was nice meeting you."

Shawn:"Nice meeting you to have a safe trip back."

Miss.Amy:"I sure will."

Miss.Amy than got into her car and left so me and my new father were left alone

Shawn:"So did you put your stuff up yet?"

Miranda:"Not yet Mr . Mendes I was just about to."

Shawn:"Ok holler for me if you need anything ok sweetie."

Miranda:"Ok."

Shawn:"And Miranda you can call me dad if you like, you know since I am your father now."

Miranda:Ok dad, Can you help me take out my bags up to my room."

Dad:"Yeah sure."

It was weird calling Shawn Mendes dad not only because he is my favorite singer in the whole world, but also I never really called anyone dad anyways my new father asked me if I need any help I politely said no than he left and went downstairs after a few hours of putting my clothes and stuff away dad took me out to eat wherever I wanted to go so I choose burger King because I have not been there for a while than he took to an arcade and we played games there for a while it was fun than after that we ended off with an ice cream cone at Dairy Queen and he was telling me I will be starting school Tomorrow

Miranda:"Im so nervous because I never went to public school before at the orphanage we had our own classes."

Dad:"So I see, don't worry sweetheart you will do fine and if someone or some boy bothers you you tell them your daddy is Shawn Mendes and if they don't leave you alone he is gonna come up there and he is gonna put a foot up their butt ok."

I laughed at what my new dad just said and then said ok this day had turned out great I would love to repeat this day all over again
