I looked up and it was dad standing right over me smiling his warm welcoming smile. I look at him smiling but a little confused about why he's in here am I in trouble or something well I guess we are about to find out. Anyways I look at him and say
Miranda: "Hey daddy what's up?"
Dad:"Nothing much,I just was needing to talk to you. "
Miranda:"About what?"
I say really confused I don't know what the hell is going on its kinda spoking me out man am I in trouble... Did he find out about me and Can what's going on I look at waiting for his answer.
Dad:Miranda I can tell by your face no your not in trouble I wanted to ask a quick question. "
Miranda: "Which is?"
Dad: "Well you know how you still got your birth last name."
Miranda: "Um yeah had it ever since I was born."
I look at him confused
Shawn: "well since your now apart of my family how would you like to be a Mendes instead of a Morrison."
Miranda: "Wait so you want me to change my birth last name to yours."
Shawn: "If you want to."
I look at my father confused about what to do like Morrison is the only thing I have left of my original family don't get me wrong I love my dad and thankful he adopted me but am I really Ready to forget my last name and get a new one I'm so confused what should I do
