Shadow was abandoned on a cold rain night. The day I met him was amazing we have such a bond. The day I met him I was having a terrible day. I saw him sitting on the side of the road and he looked sick so I went over. "Hey boy." I said in a soft tone. I saw his bones and he looked hungry. I picked him up and sat him in the back of my car. He was missing fur and he still had a collar on. It said shadow. I drove him to the vet. The vet was still open thankfully. I carried him in softly and the vets took care of him and I took him home. I played with him once he had the strength. Once he got healthy I started looking for a family for him. A nice lady called that had been looking for a dog of his personality for a long time. I met the lady and I didn't give her the dog right away. I set up times to meet with her and saw her house. Then we made the adoption she took him home a couple weeks later and I still get adoption updates from her.
