Belle and Dafey were a pair of bonded friends. Belle was a chihuahua mix and Dafey was a calico cat. Dafey had been brought to the shelter along with Belle because their family could no longer take care of them because they were losing their house and wanted a better life for them. The owner demanded the two go to a home together and this was a kill shelter where people would usually go in to adopt one animal and most likely a new dog or cat not a dog and cat. I saw the post online about the two and saw that their fee was lowered because they had to go as a pair! They were urgent since they barely had anytime left in the shelter. I went their a saw Belle and Dafeys bonded relationship and decided to adopt them. I could not replace them in a forever home because most people just wanted Belle so I stopped trying and even though my intention was to find them a forever home I did me. Because most people wouldn't understand she bond between the two and I loved them for them and I knew they needed to stay together.

Answer: well of course I do haha and my dogs nickname is bubba or bubs and Joaquin and jaqui for my other one.
