Lilia was a golden retriever mix very shy. She would hide from you and not want to come out. She was scared of guests and would hide underneath the bed at any sign of guests being new and never known. Known guests she even feared. Many thought no one could help her with her issues and she was a lost cost. Frankly I thought she was a beautiful dog and I thought she deserved a chance at finding the perfect home even thought others thought she could possibly never find a home and wanted to give up on her. Thankfully I stepped in and wanted to help her. I decided the dog had anxiety from past experiences and needed help to over come it. So I bought a thunder jacket which would so call help with "anxiety" for dogs but it did nothing to help her. I wound up hopeless and stressed out because she was going to be such a hard dog to place in a home. I decided she needed to be in a home where she could be loved for who she is and that it was going to take awhile to find it. I had her for a full month, finally I found her a home with a boy who was dealing with issues making new friends because he just moved to the area and desperately needed a friend also he was shy so it kinda worked out better. The boy loved Lilia and she was his best friend. His mother now says they go everywhere together and enjoy each others company. Still working on getting Lilia not to be so fearful but they say shes the best dog they have ever had.
