David then realized, he was sent back on the day of the accident.

He then frantically looked around and saw his mother laying on the ground, just like before.

He was stuck upside-down in the car, he started struggling with the seat belt that was stuck.

"I need to get out"

The David felt a sharp pain across his muscles, but the ignored it, but the he suddenly broke the seat belt.

He the fell oh his knees inside the car, David the punched the stuck door of the car open.

He crawled out of his car, he then quickly made his way towards his mother who was unconscious.

Then for a split second was confused, until all the memories hit him.

Then after stabilizing Gloria, the nanites returned to David.

Then David waited for the "city meat wagons" as Trauma Team liked to call ambulances.

David was sitting on a bench outside a "hospital", calling that would be an overstatement but hey? It's Night City, what did you expect?

Then a doctor, came to talk to David.

"Your Mother is stable, her injuries are minimal, but she fell into a come"

"What?"

The he handed David a tablet.

"Those are our Coma Treatment packages, you have three days to pick one"

The he walked away.

"Hey what gives? I thought you said you healed her?"

'Shit! It must be all the extra shifts' David thought, as he looked at his mother close that the doctor brought him.

Then David picked up the stuff and headed home.

After going inside, he took out his Mother's jacket and grabbed something that was inside it.

With the money she had saved, David could pay for the Coma Treatment for a while, well until he finds Maine and joins his crew again.

After doing that he went back, to the Sandy, he first put on his mom's jacket, and then grabbed the sandy

The he went out of the vent and got walking, to where you might ask? To doc.

After a while of walking he arrived, then he opened the door.

"Huh!? Who is it?"

"Yo doc"

"Ah, Davy, what brings ya here"

Then David holds up the Sady, then doc looked closely at it.

"I wanna chip this shit"

"That looks like military grade? You sure you can handle it? And plus it's going to cost ya"

"Don't have the cash, but I do have a deal"

"Oh? And what kind of deal do you have that would interest me?"

"Heh, you chip me for free, and when i come back to beg you to rip it off, you can have ut for free"

Doc then laughed

"Davy, you mad man, fine deal, get on the table"

"Sure thing"
