For David everything that happened was in slow motion, but for Lucy it was the opposite, as soon as the shard ejected, the guy she tried to steal it from, appeared next to her grabbed her wrist.

"Huh!?"

She said as her eyes widen, then she grabbed David's hand and pulled him to the side.

"So what's your angle spill it!"

"My what?"

"What do you want? You know my work"

"Lady, you just tried to steal my shard, I couldn't just let you have it"

The Lucy placed her hand hand on David's face.

"Do I know you?"

Then Lucy tried hacking David to see his personal information, but.

Lucy was skeptical of David being a newbie, he did resist her hacking attempt.

David and Lucy now are at the top of a staircase, Lucy is leaning on the railing

"So boss lady, how did I do?"

"Boss lady huh? Well I'd say you're well worth your 20%"

"You know I could just steal all the shards right?"

"Joking, geez, so David wanna come to my house?"

"Oh?, have I made that good of a first impression?"

Then Lucy grabbed David's chin and pulled him down.

"Not just yet"

The she let go and started walking away.

"You coming, or what?"
