Lying on his sofa, Ben was mulling with a sigh. He had missed Luna terribly since he had come back late in the morning, and he was not happy about her being with Andreas. He didn't trust him and, even if the fairy knew how to defend herself, he felt guilty at the idea of having left her alone together with this psychologically unstable man. However, he couldn't have stayed, the mere sight of this guy hanging around the woman he was in love with disgusted him. He knew that this situation embarrassed her because her friend had arrived out of the blue, which she had not liked, and she had tried to persuade him to stay, begging, but he had left anyway.

Now he didn't dare contact her to ask her for a date, in peace and quiet, feeling a coward to have left her. However, he had better do it if he didn't want to lose her and his rival to take advantage of the situation. She was his soul mate, and Lord knew what might have happened in the garden if Andreas hadn't come when he did.

He grunted and grabbed his phone to send her a message on Instagram, hoping she wouldn't be mad at him.
Suddenly his heart raced: he had received a message from the light fairy. Was it a message of apology? A proposal for a date? Or a reproach?
He opened it quickly, eager to read it, his heart beating wildly.

"Good evening Ben, I hope you got home safely. I wanted to apologise for earlier, Andreas arrived unexpectedly, I was taken aback, I understand how that might have disappointed you, but seeing you leave like that really hurt 😢"

He smiled sadly, angry with himself for unintentionally hurting her. That was the last thing he wanted, she had suffered enough in her life. He had to speak his mind.

"Luna, I'm the one who's sorry for earlier, I reacted sharply and left when I didn't want to and I would have preferred to stay with you. I'm so sorry, I don't know what to do to make it up to you."

He sent the message and put the phone down, thinking she was busy, except that she had already read the message, and she answered him right away. She was definitely responsive, and that was a good sign for him.

"We could meet some evening, just the two of us, what do you think? "

He couldn't suppress a smile: it was a date proposal! Yes, of course he wanted to see her again! As soon as possible, in fact, he was dying to. They could finally push their relationship forward, and he was ready to see her every evening, and every morning and afternoon too. Even at night.

"I don't know when you're free, I'm here every night, you could come to my place..."

He hoped she would agree to come to his suite to make sure they weren't disturbed yet again by Andreas, who was keeping an eye on them.

"I'd love to see you again tonight (and every night, for that matter 😁 ), but it's late. Tomorrow Stella is coming home, and on Monday I have meetings until evening. Tuesday night around six o'clock, is that OK?"

Ben frowned, slightly disappointed: he was going to have to wait another three days before seeing her again, which was an eternity for a man in love.

"Okay, although it's going to be hard to wait until then 😓 . I'll order dinner for both of us and pick you up 😃 ."

Even though Luna lived dozens of miles away from Alfea, he was willing to make the journey twice to spend a few hours in her company.

"Don't mind me, I'll take a cab, just be ready on time 😉
I can't wait to see you 😍"

As he read these words, Ben shivered, and hell, those emojis! He couldn't help but smile blissfully. She felt the same way about him, it was obvious. He wrote her another message, hesitating between several emojis to place at the end of the sentence, but opted for the kiss, to give her affection despite the distance separating them.
