On the bed, Luna was lying pale, motionless, unconscious, with her dress up and her panties down, while Andreas was taking his time buttoning up his trousers, his manhood still swollen with pleasure, and grinning at them contemptuously. He would go to jail, it didn't matter, but he knew that, just by staring at the disgusted and desperate look on his rival's face, he had achieved his goal, to break them both.
Shocked by the horror of seeing the woman of his life raped by this bastard, the botany professor, mad with rage, dashed towards the Specialist, slammed him against the wall and began to beat him. At that moment, his physical strength was at least equal to his. He wanted to hurt him, to make him pay for the harm he had done to Luna.

"You scum, I'm going to kill you!" he screamed, losing his temper, trying to strangle him. "You never touch her again, do you hear me?!"

With his face swollen and blood running down his face, his opponent made no attempt to defend himself, continuing to smile nonchalantly, with all the resentment he felt.

"You're right, she's far too ugly," the latter mocked wickedly. "Who'd want that frump?"

Before Ben had time to tear him down after kneeing him in the balls, Saul stepped in, very angry at his former friend.

"Leave it, I'll handle him, go help Luna instead, she needs you," he advised in a softer voice, holding Andreas firmly against the wall. "Farah, go get the security guards quickly so he can be taken away as soon as possible."

As the headmistress ran out of the room, Ben rushed to his beloved who was lying in the mess of sheets and blankets, fighting back the tears that were burning his eyes. She wasn't moving, but she breathed slowly from time to time. That swine had touched her, sullied her, and he was terribly angry at himself for not having protected her enough from him. Her life was ruined forever, and he felt helpless in the face of that suffering.
He gently pulled down her dress to hide her intimacy and checked her pulse, which was weak, before noticing the half-empty glass of lemonade on the bedside table. Immediately he guessed the perverse scenario and clenched his fists.

"He's drugged her, she'll need an ambulance," he muttered, stroking her face, very worried about her.

And he also had many fears about the embryo. The drug could well have done a lot of harm, and he hoped with all his heart that she wouldn't lose their baby, whom he already loved as his children.

"Come on, my blossom, you're both going to be fine," he whispered faintly enough that only she could hear him, before placing a kiss on her forehead.

He certainly didn't want their secret to get out just yet, especially in the presence of Andreas.
Soon, as he was holding the hand of the woman he loved, Farah came back with the security guards, who took charge of the rapist.

"The paramedics and police have been notified, they should be here in the next few minutes," the fairy warned them.

The security guards forcefully removed Andreas from the room and, when the paramedics arrived, were forced to secure the entrance to prevent inquisitive guests from venturing into the room.
Ben was a little bewildered by the influx of people, shocked by what had just happened. Around them, the police were collecting evidence, including the glass of lemonade, and ordered the emergency doctor to examine her by a forensic doctor once she was in hospital.
The paramedics attended to the still unconscious fairy, and her companion merely answered questions rather mechanically, still very confused.
It was only when Stella came into the room, devastated, that he finally clung to the world. She was calling for her mom, crying, panicking at the sight of her in this state, cursing at Andreas.

"Stella, I'm sorry," the botany teacher apologised, bowing his head, blaming himself for not being able to protect her mom from this fake friend.

The grieving teenager stared at him with a glint of gratitude in her eyes.

"It's not your fault, Mr. Harvey, if I hadn't insisted he be here tonight, this would never have happened," she said in a soft voice. "I can't blame you for loving Mom."

He placed his hand on her shoulder, fatherly, trying to suppress his tears in front of her so as not to worry her further.
The paramedics laid the fairy on a stretcher after taking her parameters and brought her to the ambulance. This was the second time in over two months, and Ben was feeling as if he was reliving the night when she had lost a part of herself.
Slowly, he got into the ambulance to accompany her to the hospital, while the security guards were stopping the festivities and the police taking Andreas away to the station.

A few minutes later, the vehicle arrived at the hospital, where the Queen was examined and put on a drip until she woke up. This was all very hard for Ben to endure, even though he knew she would wake up in the next few hours. She hadn't deserved all this pain, she just wanted to live. And above all, she loved someone, and his rival had taken revenge. He growled, furious as he imagined what that monster had done to her and the baby. He had not yet told the doctors that she was pregnant, and was reluctant to do so because he had promised to keep it quiet.
Yet he had to, to make sure that the embryo was still attached and that she would not lose it. At her age, this was crucial.
When the doctor came into the room for a check-up, he jumped at the chance.

"Doctor, there's something really important you need to know," he began, embarrassed.

"What kind of something, Professor Harvey?" inquired his interlocutor, leaning towards him with a small smile.

Ben sighed, uncomfortable, and lowered his voice to prevent other people from hearing him.

"Luna and I are expecting a happy event, she's one month pregnant," he announced, stressed. "I'm concerned about the baby, we should do an ultrasound."

The doctor remained silent for a moment, before bursting into laughter, as if amused by a joke.

"At her age, I don't think so, she's probably not far from the menopause," he scoffed. "That's a good one, you're a little comedian, Professor."

"I'm telling you the truth!" protested Ben in annoyance, losing his usual calm.

But the doctor ignored him and walked out of the room. He hadn't even bothered to check her womb after what she had been through.
Luna's partner roared, beside himself, and took her hand, hoping to see her eyelids open, to hear the sound of her voice.

The baby was in danger. So was she. And there was nothing he could do but wait.
