Ben suddenly heard the doorbell ring and dried his tears. He didn't know how long he had been lying in bed sobbing, heartbroken. Luna had left him because she didn't love herself. The emptiness in his soul was indescribable, it had taken the place of the man he had once been. He was in horrible pain, his stomach was twisting and his pulse was throbbing in his temples.
He had missed his girlfriend for two months, and he couldn't identify which was hurting more: the sound of her voice, or her radical decision. One thing was certain: her call had destroyed him.
He walked with heavy steps to the door and opened it. Immediately, Saul knew that something sad had happened and hugged him to comfort him.

"Luna and I are over," he announced, stammering.

Surprised, his friend gazed at him in astonishment, placing his hands on his shoulders.

"Wait, can you explain? Did I miss something?"

The botany teacher nodded and summoned up his last bit of strength to tell him what had just happened.

"Luna returned home, she called to check up on me and ended our relationship. She thinks that when I see her lesions I'll stop loving her, when it's the opposite," he explained, raising his voice, still very affected. "I love her and she is under my skin."

The Specialist gave him a big pat on the back, looking casual.

"What are you waiting for to go to her, you fool?" he retorted to shake him a bit. "You love her, prove it to her, I'm sure she expects a reaction from you."

Ben realized the truth of his friend's words. This was his last chance, if he didn't seize it, it was over. He didn't want to give Andreas that pleasure. Luna needed him, needed his love, and he would join her.

"You're right, I'll go and have some lunch and then I'll take the flower to her for Stella," he approved, smiling again. "Give me a minute, I need to get dressed."

Sam and Terra's dad pulled on a shirt, trousers, his polished shoes, sprayed some perfume and placed his glasses on his nose before leaving the suite with his colleague.

In the afternoon, he drove to the castle of the woman he loved, with the peony on the passenger seat, but also the passionflower that she so much wanted to have in her garden.
In front of the gate, the security officers stopped the car to carry out a check.
He quickly stated his name, with his identity papers:

"Professor Benjamin Harvey, I have come to see the Queen and bring her the peony she has ordered."

One of the officers grabbed his phone and made a call.

"Your Highness, Professor Harvey wishes to speak to you, he claims to have brought a peony you've ordered, may we let him in?" he asked hesitantly.

Inside the castle, next to the intercom, Luna was thinking. She had ended their relationship in the morning and he was already at her gate, she didn't know what to think. Her mind was telling her to refuse, but her heart was telling her otherwise. She was in love and might never let go of her feelings for him.

"Yes."

She had accepted in a breath, and the officer nodded. Ben felt a considerable strain taken away from his heart. There was still hope for their relationship.
Before entering, he handed the passion flower to the officer who had called her.

"Would it be possible to ask the gardener to plant it in the Queen's exotic garden? It's a present for her."

The man nodded in approval and took the plant with a knowing wink, confirming that she would like it.
He entered the property and parked his car in front of the steps leading to the front door, before taking the pot with the peony and ringing the doorbell, his heart pounding in his chest.
Eventually the door opened and all his doubts were allayed.
