Chapter 21 - One More

Busy all day, Luna had not yet had time to take the pregnancy test her employee had brought her from the pharmacy a few hours earlier. As she had spent the evening with Ben and preferred to be alone to do it, she waited until he was asleep before getting up and quietly making her way to the bathroom, relatively confident. She was pretty sure she wasn't pregnant, although she wouldn't have minded having a child with her partner. However, she thought she was too old to be a mother again and take care of a baby, even if she wasn't alone. Besides, she had never discussed the possibility with Ben, who might not have wanted a third child.

Once in the bathroom, she grabbed a vial, urinated into it, and dipped the tab of the pregnancy test into it.

She sat on the toilet seat, trembling, her heart pounding, her hands sealed on her stomach, and waited for a few minutes that seemed like hours.

Suddenly, the strip coloured, showing the result: positive.

The Queen swallowed hard.

This announcement came as a terrible shock to her, so she was gasping for air. She hoped that Ben would not wake up now, otherwise he would discover the catastrophe...

Making love in the natural pool had surely not been their best idea, now she was pregnant and distraught. She didn't know what to do, whether she should keep the baby or not, and above all how to tell the man she loved. They had only been together a few months, and a pregnancy was probably not welcome this early.

The fairy took a deep breath and hid the test through her powers before coming back to bed with her man, who had not moved and was unaware of the upheaval she was experiencing.

The next day, Luna tried not to let anything show, finishing the last preparations for the reception that would take place in the evening, but after a few hours, her companion noticed that something was wrong, because she was not in her normal state, not as affectionate as usual, and especially, very nervous.

When they went back up to the room to change clothes before the arrival of the guests, Ben noticed that, unlike the other days, his fairy had her back to him to change, tense.
Concerned, in his shirt and underwear, he approached her, but did not wrap his arms around her, as she did not seem very willing to cuddle.

"Is something bothering you, my blossom?" he questioned in a soft voice.

She stood still for a moment, not knowing what to say. Telling the truth scared her, but did she really have a choice? Lying was not her cup of tea, especially not with those closest to her.
She turned back to him, looking serious, apprehensive about his reaction.

"I'm not ill, Ben, there's nothing wrong with me," she began with confidence.

She couldn't continue her sentence immediately, because he couldn't help but hug her, holding her close to him as if she were his most precious jewel, really happy that she was in good health.

"You don't know how relieved I am!" he exclaimed, sliding his lips down her neck in euphoria.
She pushed him away slightly, determined to tell him the truth.

"I asked an employee to bring me a pregnancy test yesterday and the result is unequivocal. I'm pregnant..." she announced, looking down, uncomfortable, expecting a negative reaction.

But instead of getting upset, Ben continued to shower her with kisses as he wrapped his arms around her, embracing her.

"You're pregnant, sweetheart, that's wonderful, this baby is a sign of life hanging by a thread, a gift from heaven, and I can't wait to see him!"

Moved by the joy and unwavering support of the man she loved, she couldn't help but shed a few tears of happiness.

"I can't wait to see you take care of our baby, you are an amazing dad, love."

Slowly, he crouched down to place a kiss on his beloved's scarred stomach.

"Hi, baby," he whispered to his unborn child, his hands caressing her belly.

Luna burst out laughing, touched by her partner, who kept tickling it. He had already adopted their unborn child, although she had thought he would react badly, and not accept her late pregnancy.

"I love you, darling, you don't know how glad I am that you share my joy," she murmured as she stroked the back of his neck, covering him with a loving gaze.

He stood up, his left hand dipping into the Queen's brown mane, touched to the core, and his other hand tenderly taking hers.

"Luna, I can feel all your emotions, we were meant to be together, and the chances of us having a baby together were almost nil, which makes me feel more confident that we are soul mates."

She snuggled against him, enjoying his protective and reassuring warmth. At that moment, she thought of Andreas, who would be mad as hell when he learned of her pregnancy, and began to fear the worst for her partner.

"Ben, I'd like to keep it a secret as long as possible, especially not to say anything today, I don't know how Stella might react, and Andreas might go crazy, I wouldn't want to spoil the party," she admitted, worried.

He leaned towards her to taste her lips smoothly.

"I won't say anything, I promise, my blossom, but I won't let Andreas harm us and the baby," he assured her, confidently.

She kissed him back, her hands sliding over his face deftly, before taking a deep breath, very proud to see her protective side come out.
He kissed her forehead softly before putting on his costume for the party, as his beloved woman donned a long, lacy black dress with long sleeves and a collar that went slightly up her neck.
She helped him tie his tie, and instead of leaving the room, he pulled her onto the bed in stride, dotting her bare skin with sweet kisses.

"You're beautiful, Luna love," he said, his hands sliding sensuously under her dress.

The fairy moaned, shivering under his divine caresses.

"Mmmh, are you sure we have time for a naughty session, honey?" she asked, squirming with desire.

"Always," he retorted in a husky voice, his fingers slipping her panties down her thighs.

He gently rushed his head to her rosebud and his fairy let it go, surrendering to him and the overwhelming pleasure he was giving her.
