It was late at night, not a being awake except one.
It was a woman, with jet black hair that seem to reflect the celestial bodies natural light right infront of her. Dull periwinkle eyes that if you were not to take a closer look, you wouldn't see its shine as it stares at the moon in pure adoration.
She sits there. at the comforts of her home, with the moon as her only companion, the one who hears her pleas every night. Her savior, when the world had turned its back against her. Her...friend, who she shared stories and secret that are not meant to be shared with anybody.
It witness her fall inlove...It witness two destined souls that are separated by this cruel universe, promise each other of a life that is deemed impossible, but they held out hope. It heard her cries when she laid awake, tears streaming down her face when she realized, She won't get to see her other half until nightfall.
"He was right infront of me...yet I couldn't do anything to make him stay-" Said woman let out a tear slip down her cheek, as she converses with her
friend. If someone were to see her talking to the moon, they would think of her as an insane woman, but she knew better. She knew it hears her calls, and she was delighted with that. It was her friend, and her solitude that kept her from getting lost.
As if responding, a warm wind appears to pick up, despite the coldness of the night, she feels her tear getting wiped and a sudden cold wind took over seemingly whispering sweet nothings into her ears, letting her hair flow freely with the wind.
She chuckles, "You're there to save me as always...Thank you" And she was thankful. Because it knows of the things she spoke of, never judging her and just supporting her even if it's from afar. "Wish I could give you a big hug, but alas, even you and I aren't fated to get near each other."
Finishing her speech, she then closes her eyes, and let the cold wind touch her face. Trees rustling creating a sound that oddly calms her nerves down. There was no need to say anything. Everything was said, and the both of them were content with each other.
