You were sat in Jimmy's bar, your dad sat beside you watching the game on the tv while drinking, you sighed as he glanced at you. "You going to be done anytime soon?" You ask him as he shakes his head at you.

You were used to your dad drinking his problems away, it was better than the other options. You drank with him quite often, you just didn't drink as much as what he did, so you usually ended up being the one dragging him home.

You heard the door open to your left, ignoring it until you heard someone say. "Shit, I thought Androids weren't allowed in here." You turn to look over and see an Android heading straight towards you and your dad, seeming to be on a mission.

It walks up to the right side of your father and looks down at him then over to you. "Lieutenant Anderson, Detective Anderson, my name is Connor. I'm the Android sent by CyberLife. I tried to find you both at your office but you weren't there, I was told you would be having a drink nearby. I was lucky to find you both at the fifth bar."

"Why's it talking to us?" You mumble to your dad who shrugs. "You and Detective Anderson were assigned a case early this evening. A homicide, involving a CyberLife Android. In accordance with procedure, the company has allocated a specialised model to assist investigators." The Android Connor explained.

"Well, we don't need any assistance. Specially not from a plastic asshole like you." Your dad replied. "So just be a good lil robot and get the fuck outta here." He then goes back to sipping his drink.

"Sorry, we're just not interested." You added as you downed the last of you drink and smile sarcastically at the Android. You didn't have a problem with Androids unlike your dad, you just didn't like how they were sometimes. So unfeeling, anyone could hurt them but they wouldn't actually feel it. It made you uncomfortable.

"You know what?" Connor said. "I'll buy you both one for the road. What do you say?" Connor asked you both as you looked at the Android surprised. Connor then turns to the bartender, Jim, and said. "Bartender, the same again, please." Jim turns around as Connor pulls out some cash out of its pocket and lays it down on the surface.

"See that, Jim? Wonders of technology... make it a double, for her too." Hank said as Jim pours out a drink for you both. Connor glances over at you and you raise an eyebrow at him.

"Huh, sweet." You respond, winking over at Connor as you down your drink once again.

Connor's LED flashes yellow for a second as Hank chugs his drink then sets his glass back down on the bar. Your dad lets out a sigh then looks over at Connor and said, with a chuckle as he leans back on his stool. "Did you say Homicide?"

You ended up being forced to drive with Connor, your dad simply refused to 'let it in his car'. You were now driving along feeling really awkward, you turned on your music to try and cut the silence.

"The Lieutenant is your father?" Connor asked from beside you. "Do you really need to ask?" You responded, annoyed. "You two are quite similar." Connor then says, causing you to glare at the Android. "What's that supposed to mean?" You grumble.

"Well I noticed the Lieutenant get into an older model car, you have an older model car. You both drink alcohol. Do you need me to continue?" Connor asked. 'Did this thing just sass me?' You thought to yourself. "Detective Anderson, you should pay attention to the road." Connor then says as you turn back to watch the road.

"Don't call me that, my name is Y/N." You say, rolling your eyes. "Okay, Y/N. I'm surprised the station lets you work with your father." Connor then says, you smile slightly when it said your name. "We work well together, do you have a problem with it?" You ask as you glance at Connor, it shakes it's head. "No."

"Good then we don't have a problem." You responded, coldly. "I feel as if my presence isn't wanted by you." Connor said. "It's not wanted, but seems I don't have a choice, you talk a lot for an Android." You said as it tilted its head at you.

"I'm sorry, Y/N." Connor says. "No, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be so mean." You then said as you noticed the Android start to look out the window, ignoring what you said. 'Typical I try to be nice and it ignores me' you thought to yourself.

You then leaned across and turned your music up really loud, hoping that the Android next to you wouldn't speak to you for the rest of the ride to the crime scene. You glance over at Connor and start looking over its features, you'd seen a lot of Androids but this one, seemed different. He looked a lot more human than many of the others, if it wasn't wearing a uniform and was in different clothing you'd think it was human from this angle.

You sighed pulling your eyes away from the Android as you neared the address for the crime scene, seeing your dads car already stopped him sat in it waiting for you two to arrive. You pulled up in front of his car and put your middle finger up at him, he instantly raised his up in return.
