Just a Malfunction| Connor x Reader D:bh (female)

Do it again and you're grounded.

It was early morning when you and Connor went to go look for your dad, you knew he'd probably be at the Chicken Feed.

There was nobody around as the sun continued to rise. As you neared the Chicken Feed you saw your dad stood there with his back facing you both. You could tell he was probably worried because he hadn't heard from either of you since he distracted Perkins back at the station.

When you got closer he suddenly turned around to see both you and Connor walking up to him, you both holding each other's hands. He smiled at you both and you and Connor smile back at him.

"I knew I raised a weirdo..." Your dad said as you shake your head at him. "Only my kid could fall for someone as goofy as you."

"Dad!" You said as he starts laughing. "You aren't mad?" Connor asks your dad as your dad frowns at him. "Before I would have been... but I'd rather you than anyone else. But if you break my daughters heart, I'll break you in half and throw you into a pit."

Connors eyes widen at this as he squeezes your hand for some comfort. "I-I don't want to break her heart and I won't... I promise." Connor says, defensively. "Dad, don't threaten him like that." You whine as he turns to you.

"I have a bone to pick with you as well. You made me worry about you so much." Your dad says as you look down at your feet. "Do it again and you're grounded."

"I live in my own house how can you ground me?" You say as you look back up at him. "I'm your dad I can do what I want." He replies as you now squeeze Connor's hand for some comfort.

"It's my fault, she had to come after me to Jericho. If she hadn't I may not have Deviated." Connor explained trying to defend you. "I'm sorry, dad." You mumble.

"Both of you get over here, right now." Your dad said as you and Connor look at him confused. Your dad then walks over to you both and pulls you two in for a hug and the three of you stand there in a group hug. You hear Connor sigh in content.

After you three break from the hug, your dad makes you get in his car, so he can talk to Connor alone.

Connor stared at your dad nervously waiting for him to speak. "How much do you like my daughter?" Your dad asks him as Connor glances over at you sat in the car. "I don't just like her, Hank, I love her..."

"Have you told her that?" Your dad asks as Connor shakes his head no. "We haven't known one another for long... it seems ridiculous for me to love her when she probably doesn't feel the same." Connor explains to your dad who just starts laughing at him. "What's so funny?"

"Look, I raised that girl. Still feels like I am now even though she's a grown adult, I know she loves you call it dad intuition just tell her." Your dad said to Connor whose smile began to grow. "Can I ask her to be my girlfriend too?" Connor asks your dad who looks at him confused.

"You mean to tell me you haven't even asked her to be your girlfriend?!" Your dad exclaimed, shocked. "Do that part first then tell her you love her."

Finally, Connor and your dad enter the car, Connor sits with you in the back and instantly grabs your hand to hold it. "So Connor has something to ask you." Your dad says as you look over at Connor who looked, nervous.

"I... I... Will you be my girlfriend?" Connor asks, quickly, almost so quickly that you didn't hear it. "Of course I will be." You reply as Connor smiles at you. "God you two are so cute, it makes me want to be sick."

"Dad..." You mumbled as he looked over at Connor and pointed his head at you, signalling Connor to continue. "There's also something I need to tell you, Y/N." Connor said as you look between him and your dad who smiles and turns around to look out the windscreen.

"I know we haven't known each other for very long, and I don't want you to feel as if this is forced. But I know how I feel about you and it's okay if you don't..." Connor says but you interrupt him. "I love you, Connor." You say as he looks at you shocked. "I love you too, Y/N." Connor says as your dad gags.

Your dad starts to drive away from Chicken Feed as you sit there, you start to think of what the future could hold now that Androids had their freedom. It would take a while but you knew humans would eventually adapt and accept that Androids are alive and people too and that you and Connor, especially, will get weird looks. You knew that they would probably make comments and yell at you, possibly call you a traitor for being in a relationship with an Android. But you were ready for that moment, as long as you knew Connor loved you nothing they said would bother you.

But as you look over at Connor, all you could think about was how much your relationship could grow and prove to everyone that humans and Androids can be together and love just like human couples can.

Connor looks over at you and smiles, happily. He leans towards you and presses his lips towards yours in a long slow kiss. "Really kissing my daughter in front of me!" Your dad yells as Connor pulls away and lets out a very genuine laugh.

Another fanfic completed! I'm currently writing two more at the moment. A Nines one and another Connor one. Which would you prefer to be released first, Nines or Connor?

I doubt I'll be continuing this one as I'm already continuing my first one!
