"What happened before you took the knife?" Your dad asked the Deviant, who was covered in blood and looking down at the table, in the interrogation room. You, Connor and a few others Officers stand in the other room, watching the interrogation from behind the one way window.
One of the Officers standing there was Gavin Reed. He had this hate for your father that he would never explain, he'd always flirt with you to try and get under his skin. You hated him. But he'd never stop, always asking you out for a drink and after you'd say no he'd ask, why not drinking seems to run in your family.
The only reason you hadn't punched him in his stupid fucking face was because you liked your job otherwise you would have punched him a long time ago.
The Deviant doesn't answer your dad and he goes to the next question. "How long were you in the attic?" He then asks. Nothing. "Why didn't you even try to run away?" Your dad asked but once again nothing. Your dad snaps his fingers in front of the Deviant but he doesn't respond to it.
Finally, your dad got angry and slammed his hand down on the table and shouts. "Say something, damn it!" Still nothing.
"Fuck it, I'm outta here!" Your dad said, frustrated, as he gets up from the chair and walks out of the room then walking into the room all of you were in. "We're wastin' our time interrogating a machine, we're gettin nothing out of it." Your dad shouts as he walks over to a chair and sits down.
"Could always try roughing it up a little. After all, it's not human..." Gavin sneered then turned to you. "What do you say, beautiful?"
"Don't talk to my fuckin' daughter like that!" Your dad growled at Gavin who only smirked. "I say fuck off, Reed!" You replied.
"Androids don't feel pain." Connor remarked interrupting the side conversation. "You would only damage it and that wouldn't make it talk. Deviants also have a tendency to self-destruct when they're in stressful situations."
Gavin scoffs. "Okay, smartass. What should we do then?"
"I could try questioning it." Connor said, making Gavin laugh out loud while Hank sits there. "Give him a chance, Hank." You said to your dad who sighed then said. "Well who am I to say no to my daughter." Your dad turns to Connor and said. "Go ahead, suspects all yours."
"Hope you get something outta it." You said to Connor, who glances at you and nods, appreciatively.
Once Connor entered the room, he approached the table and looked over the case file. After he was done he sat down and began to analyse the Android in front of him. "You're damaged." Connor pointed out. "Did your owner do that? Did he beat you?"
Still no response. "You've refused to talk since they arrested you. If you don't cooperate, they'll do things the hard way."
Connor seemed to realise that diplomacy was not working. He slammed the file on the table. "Twenty eight stab wounds! You didn't want to leave him a chance, huh? Did you feel anger? Hate? He was bleeding, begging you for mercy, but you stabbed him, again and again and again!"
"Please..." the Android finally began speaking. "Please leave me alone." You stated in amazement that it had started to speak to Connor.
"I know you killed him. Why don't you say it?"
"Please." The Android pleaded, he looked terrified.
Connor slammed his hands on the table. "Just say 'I killed him'! Is it that hard to say?" Connor yelled at the Android. "Stop it! Stop it!" The Android pleaded again. Connor then pulled the Android out of the seat and lifted him up roughly. "Just say you killed him! Just say it!"
